In regards to the AvidMC and Marma1ade situation, I want to make it clear that I do not support either of them and I am very glad that they've left the mcyt space. I wish all affected people a healthy recovery β I know what it's like to be treated like that.
As for the elephant in the room, my fanfiction centering character!Avid, I will not be taking it down. In fact, I will continue to write the sequel to Hate You, Love You, because it is a passion project that I've poured many hours into. My disgust and hatred toward the content creator will not stifle my creativity.
I viscerally separate character from content creator. I always have and I always will.
Keep creating, and remember never to let someone else's dirt dull your shine.

What a horrible situation, I feel so heartbroken at this. Not about Avid's behavior and how I watched them (again, only watched them for a month), but for the victims.
The fact that he acted like a close friend to them only to toss them aside when they weren't needed is disgusting behavior, all of this is disgusting behavior.
The accusations towards friends, the isolating, I am still trying to learn about this situation but it is disgusting.

I've been thinking about unlisting Avids flight intro animatic from my YouTube channel. For those who don't know, I was commissioned to animate the intro, and its been up on my YouTube channel which is the only place you can watch it now because all of the flight videos have been taken down. Because it was so short lived, I don't know how many people would actually be sad to see it go, so I want to hear what you all have to say.
It was my first commission, and I was very excited for the opportunity and for everyone see what I had made for the series. I was very proud of what I made, but now I look back at it and it's something I feel disappointed by. It kind of feels awkward to keep on my channel, but at the same time its the only place you can watch it now and I don't want to dissapoint anyone who still wants to see it.

I keep seeing people talking about how happy they are the people are treating avid fans better than they treated Wilbur fans when he was outed but I feel like everyone is forgetting how horrible Wilbur's fans were about Shelby during and after the drama. The reason people are being so chill about avid fans rn is because avid's fans are actually believing the victims and acknowledging their favorite block game YouTuber is a piece of shit. Fuck when I got into vsmp there were still people being shitty about Shelby in the fandom, censoring her out of fan art they used and talking about how shes horrible and shouldn't be in vsmp because their favorite pretty boy accidentally outed himself as an abuser in response to her vaguely talking about an unnamed ex. Obviously it wasn't every Wilbur fan but it was still a pretty big amount of them.
