Would the Vantases be blood benders?

(I mean, cancer /is/ a water sign, and their aspect /is/ blood)

obvi john/dave/rose/jade as their easily respective elements. altho i vibe for rose being fire nation w/ dave... zuko azula thing xcept she doesn't hate him. on the other hand moon spirit rose 👌

could make john avatar mmmmm.... karkat as avatar is actually funnier i think. just in temperament. also last airbender is fitting as an interpretation of mutant blood

in the end since john is SO air element tho i think he as last airbender is best if i’m sticking to a:tla’s general premise. karkat could be water teacher then (firey waterbender lol)

rezi's fire nation. aradia could be literally any element. earth for archeology air for ghost water bc she kinda flows fire bc ANGRY. and fire nation fashion is the best.

sollux electricity bending? he's got aradia fire nation and fef water tribe princess (red and blue) as love interests. >:3 eridan also water tribe?

nepeta....... water? swamp water tribe? equius nonbender fire nation smith. they could also both be earth nation... nepeta small but ferocious... maybe a earth bender RAISED by water benders, so she’s got more flow to her style. tavros is probs a rural earth kingdom dude

kanaya earth or air?? bloodbending IS smth too... plus slyphs are supposed to be healers. water could work
