Virtually attending Wee Con. Loving the point made during The David Jenkins School of Historical Accuracy panel that clouds weren’t formally classified until 1802.
Ed is a trailblazer in cloud recognition and cloud function. An autodidact, ahead of his time. But even so, farmers and sailors described clouds for years using imaginative terms such as ‘woolly’, to describe shape and appearance. Ed here, isn’t really saying anything outside of the remit of his profession. So, Izzy is either genuinely very limited, or being deliberately obtuse. Pick your poison, I guess.
