Someone: "Oh yeah? When was the last time you ate?"

Scenario 1: "Approximately 4 hours and 40 minutes ago. My alarm for class went off while I was eating and that was at 11:53! It was a chicken salad sandwich with a pickle on the side. I remember because I tried it with hot sauce for the first time and it was delightful."

Scenario 2: "Good question, when did I last eat?" *Scours my memory. Nothing.* "Hmm..." *Suddenly tunes into my body* "Ah, it appears I haven't, in fact, eaten today as I currently have hunger pangs! Haha, who knew?!"

Scenario 2: "..." *wracks my brain for any memory of eating* "Uhm..." *something vague comes up but I can't remember if that was yesterday or not* "Probably?" *suddenly tunes into my body's sensations* "I mean, I don't have hunger pangs so it can't have been that long ago?"

I avoid people.

On the street, in the stores, in elevators and public events, everywhere. I don't hate people at all, I'm just more comfortable when there's distance between myself and others.

But I'm so afraid that people think I'm avoiding them for a specific reason. I don't know a solution to this. But if you see a dude walking around with an "Im Autistic" button and headphones, just know that I don't hate you.
