You make ink from garlic and draw vampires? Explain
HO BOY well i make ink from all kinds of things i find in nature! the orangey ink i used in my Baron drawing was made from a mix of garlic skins, yellow onion skins, and parsley stems.
i like sneaking in little jokes like that into work that looks serious, because above all i am a Silly Little Goose (i also used charcoal dust in that drawing… because that boy done gets Barbecued)

Glad your noodle is well! Can you please tell me: Why do they smush their faces into your hand? I don't have snakes, but I've held a few, and when they do that it scares me bc when a cat does that, it means he's gonna bite.
Hognoses are sort of unique in their face-smushing behavior in that, in my experience, it’s typically just an attempt to “dig” on your hand. Heterodon snakes of all sorts have funny little upturned noses that they use like shovels to tunnel in the dirt, looking for toads. Dig Dug earned his name because of his really overeager digging attempts on hands, clothes, carpet, etc. It’s a normal behavior for his species to burrow in stuff.
I have had some garter and corn snakes precede a bite attempt with face-rubbing, but these were probably due more to hunger-inspired confusion about the way my hands smelled than fear or anxiety. More often, it seems to me that they’re rubbing their face on you because you’re warm and it feels good to them. Often, snakes rub their face on things to clean themselves or facilitate shedding, too. The snakes that have tried to bite me due to fear have always done so with a quick strike, immediately withdrawing their face after biting, or (far more often) after missing their mark.

I actually use clip studio paint! It’s a lot cheaper and it has an extensive library of mostly free, user-submitted assets (ex. Brushes, gradient sets, actions, etc.). Unfortunately, I don’t remember which ones I used for the monet-style piece, but it was done with a combination of default brushes and a bunch of different free oil and textured/sponge brushes to try and capture the look of an oil painting.

For your cholesterol lab - it looks like you made powdered milk. Is that at all related to how they do that?
It is somewhat related.
Powdered milk is also known as evaporated milk, and a similar process is usually used to remove water from milk. From what I’ve read they spray milk into a vacuum chamber to rapidly evaporate it.
I’m just not sure that the powder is a crystal or not, or just clumps of insoluble solids that formed.
