[He turns off the lights.]

Grace: It’s pretty dark now, but if you give me a second…. My irises expand to let in more light.

Rocky: Amaze amaze amaze. You see what?

Grace: Well, I can see you, even if you’re more of a shadowy blob than usual. I can kind of see that table over there. But I can’t read any of the writing on that back wall like I usually can. However the longer I stay in the dark, the better my eyes will be.

Rocky: What if no light at all?

Grace: As long as there is some form of light I should eventually be able to see. Right now I’m relying on the emergency backup lights and all the little glowy bits on the science equipment. If all of those were to go away then yes, I wouldn’t be able to see at all.

Rocky: Hmm. Still impressive. Eyes cool.

[Grace turns on the lights.]

Grace: Thanks, buddy. Now where did I put my glasses… Uh oh.

[He starts frantically searching across all the cluttered table tops Velma-style.]

Rocky: Grace can not see lenses because of no light?

Grace (embarrassed): Actually I already turned the lights back on. I could have sworn I tossed them in this direction…
