You know when you read a book and you get a sense of deja vu, not because it’s similar to a book you’ve read in the past, but because some part of you wanted this book so badly that it feels like an old friend?

Thank you for replying! Is there anywhere I can read more updated snippets? The tag has a lot of fun games and stuff (which is really great!) but do you have a writing tag? Sorry if I'm being dumb/failing at blog navigation!
Nah, don’t worry about it!
All my writing is tagged with “my writing” and “my excerpt” and I will tag this ask with those as well so you can find them easily!
Go forth and have fun :)
For the author ask.... number 2!
2) what work of yours, if any, are you the most embarrassed about existing?
Hahaha, there’s nothing embarrassing of mine existing! Definitely no edgy fanfiction, nope. Definitely not anything from middle school floating around on the web, either. Not at all. Doesn’t exist. *sweats*
Seven Deadly Sins Tag :)
I was tagged by the lovely @augusta-writes, thanks hon! <3
I did this earlier for my Eosophobia cast so I’m going to do this for my Alight in Ashes characters.
Lust: Ignatius -- he’ll try anything, with anyone, anywhere, and he’s usually the one to instigate it.
Gluttony: Welzyn -- life is good when there’s a thousand-mile buffer of oasis between you and the bad things.
Greed: Tezera -- no matter how much power or knowledge she has, she will never have it all, and so it will never be enough.
Sloth: Synier -- “I could save the world or burn it, but honestly, I’d rather sleep in.”
Wrath: Cass -- the world has been terrible to her. She’ll be worse to it.
Envy: Xyla -- a lifetime of always being just shy of everything has lead her to loathe perfection.
Pride: Deniz -- death is a reasonable alternative to any potential dishonor, and dealing with emotions definitely counts as dishonor.
Tagging (feel free to ignore): @xanawrites @taz-writes @alongftride and, of course, anyone else who would like to join in!
So I was scrolling through your tag looking for bits of the SOLE project to read and.... realised it's on Wattpad! I've just started the first chapter, and though I'm too sleepy to function right now, it's Damn Good. The concept has me hooked, and I'm already very interested in how you write Agau, as (I'm assuming?) a villainous protagonist, which is entirely my cup of tea. :kisses lips like a French chef: perfecto
See, it’s messages like this that stop me from deleting my Wattpad and the works on it.
Because I’m not active there anymore, and the SOLE you’re reading is a really outdated version, so I’m really iffy about leaving it there for people to read.
But then people like you come into my inbox, and I get so thankful that you like the shitty version that I can’t bring myself to do it. So… thank you <3
(Also, villainous protagonists are also super fun to me. So I’m glad you like her!)

For the OC questions, how about number 8 for an OC of your choice?
8. Do complex puzzles intrigue or frustrate them?
Uh, I’ll do the two main characters from my new project!
Sumati - She loves them, but is easily frustrated when trying to solve them
Agni - He doesn’t care for them, but he has the patience to solve them
How's about 'Clementine' and 'Trustworthy'? :D
Clementine: Describe the taste of your favorite fruit in as much detail as possible
Hmm... Strawberries taste pure, like it’s the taste of bleeding heart flowers. Not much bite or any at all, which makes it even better, because then there’s nothing to interrupt it. It’s not much detail, I know, but that’s alright with me.
Trustworthy: How does nature inspire your writing?
There’s plenty of passages in my notebooks of me describing a sitting spot or the leaves or the sky or whatever. It encourages, at least for me, description to be languid, to take your time showing details because you don’t glance at a tree and see all of the fine details at once, or even a single leaf. Your eyes have to go to certain spots or zoom in or block other things out. Details come slowly. Don’t stop the story to give us two lines or more of the new place or living room your characters have wandered into, or to show off every detail of an outfit. I learned that quite a while ago, but nature keeps popping up with it and other wisdom.
For character development questions: 17 for a character of your choice? :D
Yesss, thank you!
17. What was your character’s favorite toy as a child?
Idk if it counts as a toy, exactly, but Ash loved those shitty watercolor sets. She’d wear them down to the metaphorical bone painting landscapes and coloring books.
