Silence..

The air was thick with smoke and dust, blocking the last rays of the evening sun as it set into a new night. The only sounds emanating from the ruined city was the distant crumbling of buildings losing bits of themselves- or just falling over completely as well as alarms of various kinds blaring in the distance in broken cadence, leaving the city in an eerie scene.

One particular pile of rubble that was once a convenience store seemed to shift though. A pair of trolls that had managed to escape death stood in front of it wondering if it was someone they should help..or if they should run.

They should have ran.

A large tail broke through the rubble, sending a particularly heavy chunk of concrete into one of the trolls while the other was mindlessly thwacked off their feet into a nearby pile of jagged debris. The tail thrashed about until’ more of its owner began to emerge backwards out of the rubble. Wings, legs, and soon a head broke free, letting out a snarl of a groan as it stumbled back like a newborn hoofbeast still finding their footing.

Sleek black scales adorned its body, glittering violet in the right light..deep violet bellyplates..and a large mane sitting between a pair of candycorn horns-..

The wyvern seemed to hold a striking resemblence to Vikora.

The wyvern didn’t have much time to learn of its existence before the rumbling of footsteps and caterpillar tread could be heard closing in. It glanced up the moment it noticed a ginormous shadow passed over, the pupil of its good eye slitting at the sudden imagery of a dragon soaring overhead...escaping.

Which is what he should be doing, he now realized.

The once-silent corner of the city was soon filled with shouting. And shooting. And hissing. Vikora scrambled for a more intact building on his wings and legs in a vain attempts of escaping. He hooked claws into the windows and made the climb as bullets whizzed past his new, broader frame.

He soon came to a part of the building that wildly blazed out of control, leaving him with only two options: to take the leap..or to die.

Vikora took the chance. It wouldn’t be much different than gliding..right? He reeled back, before throwing himself off the side of the building. It was a near-plummet but he managed to extend his new appendages before he’d meet an untimely end on some rebar. Using the updraft of a nearby burning building he made his way out of the city on gliding ability alone.

He followed the trail of blood left behind by the dragon he’d been searching for for weeks now, up until’ he saw said dragon being taken by a tealblood and his entourage.
