Ich bin stolz auf dich.

Sie ist ein Denkmal für die Hilfe, die nie kam.

Irgendwann, als du jung warst, hattest du jemanden gebraucht, der stark für dich ist.

Der kam nicht. Jedenfalls nicht so, wie du ihn gebraucht hattest.

Also bist du selbst stark geworden. Nicht weil es deine Natur war.

Sondern weil dir nichts anderes übrig blieb.

Aber diese Stärke ist nicht aus Fülle gewachsen.

Sie ist aus einem Mangel geboren. Aus einem Moment, in dem niemand kam.

Jedes „ich schaff das schon" ist im Grunde dieser alte Satz.

Nur dass damals ein Kind ihn sagte, das gehofft hat, dass ihm jemand widerspricht.

Du hast aus deiner Not eine Identität gemacht.

Und sie funktioniert so gut, dass niemand mehr ahnt, dass darunter einer sitzt, der nie aufgehört hat zu warten.

Du wartest nicht mehr bewusst. Du hast es dir abgewöhnt.

Aber der Teil, der einmal jemanden gebraucht hat, ist nie gegangen. Er ist nur leise geworden.

Du hast nie gelernt, stark zu sein.

Du hast nur nie gelernt, dass jemand stark für dich sein darf.

A few facts!!! He is a deep-sea predator. Typically, his kind cannot speak. They only roar and follow their instincts. But Stolz decided to evolve. He observed humans for a VERY long time... And eventually, he purposely fell into the pirates' nets so they could shelter him. The ship's captain accepted Stolz as an interesting, new species, beginning to study and teach him words and behavior. Stolz continues to follow his instincts, but helping the crew by jumping into the water for treasure (he can breathe underwater and on land!) At the same time he is a skilled manipulator. So, those pirates who sheltered him... Were the ones responsible for Stolz becoming a higher being haha (Almost))))

And another fun fact! He's missing the middle finger on his left hand. And he bit off this finger himself before he was caught by pirates, because he wanted to make them feel empathy for him.
