I came across this photo yesterday of a pebble beach in Peninsula Mitre and the simple yet striking beauty of it just hit me (I hadn't even downloaded it from my camera previously!) - Isolation highlighted by a single set of footprints, yet a profound tranquility; - Inhospitable yet inviting. - Beauty in the multicoloured pebble beach yet deep footprints showing the difficulty of walking here with a heavy backpack. - Sunlight lighting up the beach and cliffs in contrast to the approaching storm.
