no actually im still not over it do you know how funny it is that out of ALL of my AU papyruses, the one that is by far the closest to the design of the actual real canon roaring knight is the one whose soul has been possessed by gaster, who is essentially controlling his dead body as a vessel to exist and interact with the world again. i’m majorly spoiling my own fic by pointing this out but i dont even fucking care man thats so
#fucking. new knight theory dropped i guess (joke)#of all my guys it HAD to be this one. not even my actual knight papyrus fan design no it HAD to be the one i nearly called Gruss at first#trousled dumb#technically gaster’s controlling his fallen-down body instead of dead-dead body but he’s basically dead come on#sludge#<- explodes him. violently#atbb#sludge is papyrus and gaster fused and thats why he doesnt have any detail on his stupid triangle feet#he’s all drippy because this version of gaster is an amalgamation of every fallen royal scientist in the entire multiverse#and the incident that caused that amalgamation also created the void as gaster’s own little pocket dimension outside of existence#and that pocket dimension is *also* gaster. as in gaater is an amalgamate and also the void itself#WHICH IS TO SAY OF COURSE DELTARUNE’S MANIFESTATION OF PURE DARKNESS IS A LIQUID SUBSTANCE. WHICH MAY BE WHAT IS DRIPPING OFF OF THE KNIGHT#OKAY.
