Yugi staying up late building decks and ends up struggling to wake up for school. His alarm goes off but his eyes are heavy and he can't stop them from sliding back shut.
Yami watches this and decides to try and help by calling Yugi's name and shaking him lightly. Yugi mutters something incoherent before his eyes roll back and he falls asleep again.
It's late now, and there's not much time left for Yugi to get to school. So Yami, being the helpful friend he is, takes over Yugi's body and gets him ready for school as fast as he can. He's sure he forgot to do up a few buttons on his shirt, and he barely remembers to take Yugi's usual choker before he's out the door and booking it down the street.
Luckily for Yami, Joey is also late. They pass each other as Joey frantically pedals on his bike. His bike squeals to a stop as Joey ushers him on the back. They take off again with Yami fighting for his life on the back of the bike.
They make it in time. Joey gives him an odd look as they make it into their classroom. They're panting and hot from the rush, but thankfully not late. The bell rings and they rush to their seats. Joey's odd look turns to a questioning one, which Yami waves his hand to. 'Later.'
Gaara demonising his anger because it only ever caused others pain, then later in life coming to terms with the fact that maybe his anger wasn't all bad.
His anger led him to protect the people he loved. It helped him to understand things better, and it helped him to make changes as the Kazekage. His anger brought justice to his citizens and pushed for a better life for everyone in his village.
Most importantly, his anger kept him alive. He lived out of spite. He won't deny all the horrible things he did and all the people he hurt, he can't take any of it back, but it was because of his anger that he lived long enough to change.
His anger was cruel and violent, but it was also protecting.
