ah yeah it’s human nature to doubt your own abilities!! i still get extremely nervous before i post anything, and i read my own posts over and over again to find mistakes, but some of them still slip through the cracks. but luckily, you are your own worst critic!! hardly anyone notices your mistakes as much as you do, and even if they do notice, most people won’t care. none of us have editors, we’re all just here for fun & to share a story with the world!! if anyone gives you shit, just remember that this is a hobby and no one should be allowed to take away your enjoyment from something you love doing. i personally would love to read anything you want to write 💖💖

oh is this about jay? i’m mostly worried about tagging because i want people to be able to see every post she’s in from the beginning, and i can only do that if i use the same name for a tag. so i’m considering changing all her tags to “s j donovan” because those initials apply to both her birth & chosen name. but i’m not sure yet!! i still have some time to figure things out. i could even just have 2 links on the character page, if that would be easier?

only in a loose sense tbh! when i made mikaela & casper i didn't have their backstory planned yet (otherwise i probably would've given mikaela a different name too, given how traditional her parents were) but if we're retroactively applying some meaning to his name, casper means bringer of hope!! and at that time in her life, casper was literally her only source of hope, so that feels fitting 💕

i’ve never heard anyone say it should go in parenthood, but i almost feel like this isn’t an unpopular opinion. i think most people agree that knitting shouldn’t have been it’s own pack, it should be built into something bigger. and god, you can say that about almost all the sims 4 packs.... they’re all so freaking EMPTY omg. like parenthood was supposed to be the ts4 version of ts3′s generations, but it absolutely wasn’t. the only thing it added was even more activities for YA/adult sims to do (ie. the parenting skill) and added nothingggg for kids, toddlers, or elders. it’s such bullshit lmao i’m so done with ea at this point. i don’t do gameplay at all anymore because it’s so boring!! luckily i’m doing storytelling with sims otherwise i think i would drop ts4 entirely tbh. it literally makes me sad to see how empty and lackluster ts4 is compared to the previous games :(
