and i think. it was one of those lack-of-filter "i'd rather die than lose you" moments of admitting how much he really cares without putting any pizzazz on it

the sky has been imagery for us for years, especially an empty one with no clouds and a streaking plane's vapor trail, so the idea of just

it makes me. extremely happy

OKAY SO.

AS PREVIOUSLY DISCUSSED. MY BLUE IDIOT HEDGEHOG IS A SELF SACRIFICIAL BASTARD. THAT SAID, there're only a couples times so far where i myself have had a hand in saving him.

one of them is forces. i was the one sent on the mission to the death egg to break him out and what they showed in-game is wrong; he was worse for wear at the end of it all. he was alive, yeah, but he'd been Through It, and i was livid. hell even while he was missing i would go out of my own accord a lot just to do recon and beat the shit out of any robots i saw lol. but after we got him out of the death egg he seemed to clock my upsetness pretty fast (my closest people always do) and he was. for lack of word the nail in the coffin to get me to Sit Down And Process Shit (and vice versa, i wasn't letting him get away with dodging it either). a lot of snuggles happened after that

another time is frontiers, sort of. this is less me actively saving him and more me staring daggers at him every time he deflected the cyber corruption going on and having. some pretty harsh words for sage when she thought he wasn't coming back from the corruption. something to the tune of "if you don't tell me how to fix this i will remove you from this existence singlehandedly".

there's also been at least one instance of sonic getting captured by eggman in such a way that caused me to singlehandedly blitz through a horde of robots just to get to him HSDKJLGHSDGK anything for you beyonce /echo

barring sonic, the crux of my dynamic with hollow is the fact that i feel so driven to undo what happened to it. i need to think more on the rest of our dynamic bc i get so caught up in those feelings, same with shadow lugia SDHKGLSHDGJK

🌀 - Who's more detail oriented and plan focused? Who's more impulsive? Does this ever lead to conflict, and how do you resolve that?

between me and sonic we're kind of each other's impulse control but i'm at least Marginally better at coming up with a plan than he is due to how my autism works SHJKLGSEHJKGSHDGJKLGSHDG also hyperfixation fueled detail orientation in this case. teehee

if i had to pick f/os that were more detail oriented i'd actually go w the dangan crew, especially kaede and eva!!! those two LIVE for the details. esp eva i swear to god she plans Literally Everything if possible

🦮 - How do you and your F/O comfort each other? Are you good comforting each other? How do you help each other navigate tough times and recover from past hurt?

pretty much all of them can read me like an open book, because. i am one. that's just kinda how the world turns

but the way the comfort is given and how effective it is changes between the f/o and the day

a good handful of them would be down with hugs / snuggles (sonic, makoto, kaede, chiaki sometimes) because that's pretty good as a baseline

another handful of them would just send me funnies once im down for them (sonic again, sunset, makoto)

i think sonic would know how to make me laugh and also remind me how far we've come from the past. knows how to talk down the brainweird spirals and all that. he'd also throw plushies at me in the same breath LOL he has the most experience with it out of all of them i think, and vice versa

Have You Seen Makoto. dude is wired to remind you of the innate hope and good in the world and the people that live here. he's also a big goof HSDKJGSDHG

kaede hums a lot, whether it's melodies we both know or just coming up with something off the top of her head

eva's good at applying logic to a situation, but she's still working on the emotion words part. but when she is able to communicate those feelings verbally it makes me really soft ;v;

chiaki i think would just. play a comfort game for and/or with me, with the occasional words. a softer quieter presence i think

⚡️ - Which of you is more open and vulnerable? Who's more aloof and distrusting? How did you come to trust each other, or learn to share your feelings/etcetera with each other, if you do at all?

for sonaster, i wouldn't say either of us are distrusting; sonic's a bit more aloof, but in a carefree way, whereas i just kinda wear my heart on my forehead at all times SDHGKJSDHG i think we kind of always trusted each other, but it took time and. at least one or two near death experiences. for us to kinda overcome that anxiety of sharing our feelings??? IF THAT MAKES SENSE LMAO

NOVA IS SOMEHOW ALL OF THESE AT ONCE. WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS, BASTARD. again, time and at least one close call that kind of overrode the fear is what got me to share feelings w him and his buddies, and vice versa for him later on. this is vague as hell but it makes sense and tracks in My head

🌗 - How similar or different are you and your F/O? How does this affect your relationship?

sonic and i are pretty similar but have some key differences; while sonic's all gas and no brakes, i do have my moments of silence and slowing down, which i have to remind him to cherish once in a while. i'm also nowhere near as self sacrifical as he is and have chewed him out for this (with the rest of team sonic's help) on More than one occasion. ditto for myself and nova, but he has. So Much More Problems And Anxiety going on. he cares very deeply for myself both because he sees himself in me and he sees. i guess my innate sense of freedom, while he himself is not free for a good portion of his story. it gets complicated real fast but in both of these cases it makes our bond that much stronger

🧡 - What are your and your F/Os definition of family? Is it important to you?

OH THIS IS A FUN ONE

sonic's definition of "family" in my head for lack of word has always been pretty freeform? he has lots of friends, but only calls a few family outright. his most consistent companions he would call family, definitely, myself included, and i kinda follow the same format in that front. unlike me he actually Says it to their faces half the time though lol
