Okay, I think I've added all I can to this list.
With SNAP not coming next month we will need help. I already hit up a few food banks, and I'm trying what else I can to make what we have stretch or get spare money to get extra.
Amazon for a food wishlist sucks, it sucks. I can't add distilled water for my CPAP, or drinking water. Or a lot of other helpful things because they're either Fresh-only products or the options for non-amazon fresh are EXTREMELY inflated (13 bucks for a gallon of white vinegar, insane). I did also add the options for people to add extra items not on the list, and I added some non-food items that we will struggle with later because that money we usually have will go to food.
The list looks weird, but it's food I know my mom and kiddo can make for lunches and stuff I know we can make stretch.
With that said, almost everything on this list we can find locally for cheaper, on top of not being able to buy perishables and other items. So if you're game to sending cash I will include my tags, or you can use my PayPal email for any store gift cards, or DM me for our address.
The stores we shop at are:
■Costco (preferred because it is what give more bang for buck)
■Winco (also preferred) overall cheaper and has bulk bins and Augusta farms freeze dried items that we can make stretch)
■Smiths (closest but it's pricier)
■H-Mart (good deals and fair price points, especially produce)
■Aldi (lower price points, has good clearance and deals on meat and cheese)
Those are all the ones we can get the most from. We do have others around but they are pricey AF and in my opinion not worth shopping at for the money they ask.
Thank you to everyone for any help you can give and shares of the post. 🙏
