The building was filled with music and chatter. The bar was mainly filled with monsters of different appearances, and sat on a stool was Void. It had been a while since their last time in a bar, but something had just drawn them to it. In their hand was a glass of some concoction of unknown alcohol; the seats next to them empty.

He shuffles through his pockets and finds something.
“Oh my cell phone, yeah…” He opens it, and looks at it. It’s got a list of contacts, apps, and photos. He looks at one of the photos, “Hmph… a photo that was taken from my host before he went to Love Ball. I wonder why I even kept that picture around.”
He turns off his phone.
[Mun note: Since Cross Bones has a very similar timeline history to the main verse Cosmic, they may share some past events. For instance, Cross Bones’s Cosmic did go to Love Ball. So if things are linked, it’s just used as an example of what the item is. For instance, they would have the same appearance in the photos.]
“What on earth happened to you....I’ve never seen anything like this...”
What the fuck was going on with the kid now? His eyes..his horns...his mouth and the strange liquid it poorly held....even his whole form seemed odd and unstable.
He made a worried expression as he reached out and placed a paw on the kids head. He....didn’t have any idea where to even begin with this. Maybe he should oblige the alternate’s desire’s, reaching around his jacket.

Asriel was bouncing excitedly on the balls of his feet, hands lightly gripping Arial's arm as he steered her down the corridor of the ruins, into his house, and down the hall. "No peaking!" His voice was slightly giggly. He clearly seemed excited about something. He reached out with one hand and opened the door in front of them. "Okay, you can look now!" He was beaming brightly. Before them was the once closed bedroom, now bright and fully furnished, with a little wrapped box sitting on the bed.
Arial kept her eyes covered as she was led, staggering behind. Asriel was so excited and she was barely able to keep in her own giggles. When he said it was okay, she uncovered her eyes and looked at the room, amazed.
“Asriel.. Did you do this all by yourself?” She walked in a bit, circling and looking around it.Â
“Because if you did that’s amazing!”
This was always the same room that Tori had renovated for her work space. It was amazing to see it so.. different. Apprently, Asriel got some decorating skills from Tori.
Takes place: A few weeks after the events of the Feel Home Again Rp with @askthelostprince
What started it: The forementioned RP and the official starter
Tags: event: salvage for parts
In this event Arial, after having a heated argument with Sans, leaves her universe to go and find the parts to build a UTM for her little brother Asriel. She never heads back home during this time which can lead to some difficulties.
Meanwhile, Sans is in his universe as usual probably meeting people who come looking for Arial.
All roleplays in this event are chronological.
Anyone who comes to Arial's main universe will be greeted by Sans or another person from the universe. (It will be Sans unless specified)
No M!As will be accepted while the event is active.
This will only affect roleplays that are started after the event has begun.
Official starter under cut
“Dammit- Dammit! Where is it?” Arial muttered to herself as she rummaged through the various papers on Sans’ lab desk. She needed the blueprints for the UTM so she could make one for Asriel. It wouldn’t be easy, but she felt like this was the most difficult part. She didn’t even know if the blueprints were in here! They might be in her older brother’s room, or somewhere else that she didn’t even know about. They were quite important after all. “Come on, you gotta be here somewhere-”
“Arial?” She jumped at the sudden voice, freezing as she turned to look at the short skeleton in the doorway. “What the hell are you doing?”
“Uh.. Sans! What are you doing here?” She quickly asked, avoiding the question as she tried to look calm.
Sans narrowed his eye sockets at her, walking in some more and putting down his coffee mug on the desk. “What do you mean? I usually spend my time here when Paps is training with fish breath.”
He just had to throw that insult at Undyne in, didn’t he? She understood they didn’t exactly like each other but he didn’t have to call her things like that. “Shouldn’t you be at work, though?”
“My day off, remember? I don’t work Sundays.” He looked down at a notepad for a moment before back up at her. “Shouldn’t you be resting?”
Shit. Arial should be resting, yes. She just had her procedure done not even two days ago and she’d be lying if she said she wasn’t a bit tired. But she thought this would be the best time considering she gets time off of work because of her condition. She forgot that it was Sunday, though. She always got disoriented after a procedure.
“You got restless, didn’t you?” Sans said after she didn’t answer, looking back over his notes. “You tend to get that way.”
“Uh, yeah. I just couldn’t lay still for so long.” She said with a twitchy smile; he just bailed her out.
They stood in silence for a few minutes, Sans reading and taking a sip of coffee every so often and Arial just waiting for a chance to either dash or continue looking. She knew that sooner or later she would crack from just him being here. She could try asking him for the blueprints but she knew that wouldn’t work. He was so protective of them. They were almost on the same level as Papyrus, and that was saying something. They were dangerous, she knew that. But she would face the risk if she could help her little brother visit other universes. Being stuck somewhere for so long was suffocating at times.
“So, what were you looking for?”
Arial jumped as her brother broke the silence, the question nearly making her fall over. How? He was scary sometimes, and this was just a mild case, but she was pretty sure he couldn’t see through walls or anything. Just how long had he been watching her from the doorway?
“N-Nothing! Uhm, just a, uh, paper! Yeah, I lost it a while ago.” She quickly spit out to which Sans looked unconvinced.
“Arial, you never lose stuff. You can’t lose stuff. You remember where you put everything.”
Dammit! He has a point! “Uh..” She cleared her throat. “I- just- uhm..” She deflated, her shoulders slumping. She was a horrific liar and Sans would just see through her anyway. “I was trying to find the blueprints to the UTM.” She uttered out quickly.
That certainly got a reaction of him. He managed to somehow choke on his coffee despite being a skeleton and that it was most likely the monster version. His left eye flashed a brief blue as well before his sockets just went dark and he stared at his mug for a few seconds.
“You were.. W H A T?”
Arial took a few steps back, staring at him with wide eyes. Okay, more than a mild case. “I-I was.. Um- Calm down, Sans! Let me explain before you do anything rash!”
“Before I do anything rash? You were looking for the blueprints which means you wanted to give them to someone.”
“H-How-”
“Your eyes are blue.”
She froze at that. Dammit, B! She looked away, her hands curling and uncurling out of anxiety. Sans was a hell of a lot smarter than people gave him credit for. He figured things out before you could most times. And he knew his siblings’ patterns better than anyone in the Underground.
“Who?” He asked harshly in a commanding tone. If he wasn’t so lazy he’d probably make an excellent royal guardsman. Or a private eye. Okay, not a time for jokes.
“U-Uh.. You won’t like it.” She mumbled but when Sans repeated his question and louder, she panicked. “Asriel.”
“You.. Wanna give the blueprints to an incredibly powerful machine to a child? Not only that, but a child that nearly killed both of us?!”
“W-Well- I- uhm-” She looked down at the furious face of Sans. This was for Asriel. She had to remember that. Her left eye shifted to orange and she stood up tall, attempting to loom like she’s seen Papyrus do so many times. “Yes. I do. He’s stuck there, Sans.”
“So what? He deserves to be. He shouldn’t even be alive!” The attempt at looming didn’t seem to have any affect on her brother.
“He deserves to be alive just as much as me or you do!” She practically yelled at him. He’s done horrible things too, he can’t forget when judging people like that.
“I’ve only ever had one life. I can’t reset.”
Oh that may have done it. He wasn’t referring to Asriel by himself, but Flowey. She let out a low growl, her eyes shifting to maroon. “Asriel is not Flowey. He has never done a damn thing in his life to hurt someone on purpose. Unlike you.” She jutted a finger towards him.
“I am nothing like him.”
“You’re right, you are worse than him. He would actually have an excuse to do the things he didn’t even do. But you, no, you didn’t even do anything. You just stood by while Papyrus died over and over again.”
Sans’ left eye flared up again, his rage practically radiating off of him. “You know why I couldn’t do anything better than anyone, so don’t fucking give me that!.”
“But I’ve seen you break coding before, Sans. You’re forgetting,” She held up her left wrist, pointing to the black charm on her bracelet. “I’ve seen everything.” She knew very well she was overdoing it, but she couldn’t stop. She didn’t even know if she wanted to stop, which made the entire thing scarier.
“Just because you’ve seen doesn’t mean you can understand.” His magic was starting to lick at his boney hands.
Arial let out a dry laugh at that. “Quite a bold thing to say considering how lowly you regard Asriel after one time. And how that that one time just so happened to be when he wasn’t in control!” Both Chara and her were getting more and more restless with every word. “You can’t understand what he went through and now you won’t even give him a chance!”
“I have no reason to give him one. It doesn’t matter what he’s done in the form he’s currently in but what he has done in other forms too! Just because he looks different doesn’t mean he isn’t any less guilty!”
“They aren’t the same person!”
“Yes, they are!”
“You don’t even fucking know him and you’re jumping to conclusions!”
“You’re the one who said my dominant trait is justice, so that’s what I’m doing. Judging.” As he said that his eye lingered on yellow.
Oh, now he had done it. Bringing the souls into this was a bad idea. “Justice is better than you’ll ever be! They know Asriel. They know him and who he is. You aren’t even giving him the chance of day!”
“I have no reason to!” Sans repeated as he visibly tried to keep his right hand from curling into a fist.
“Well, as both of you are my brothers you could, at the very least, try!”
Everything seem to fall silent at that. Sans just stared at Arial as if she had just stabbed him. She hadn’t told him about who Asriel was to her yet, how important he was to her. He only ever knew him as the person who nearly killed his little sister. Sans’ rage gradually flowed back to him.
“So, me and Papyrus are replaceable, huh?”
“What?” She was taken aback by the question. What was he talking about?
“That twerp is your new brother, huh?”
“Downgrading to petty insults now?”
“Don’t avoid the question.” His tone was harsh, his stare strong. He was judging her.
“Yeah, he’s my new brother. So what? It doesn’t mean he’s your’s.” It was true, she had about three different families ever since she started traveling across the multiverse.
“That’s not how families work, girl.” That name.. That name hurt Arial. That’s what Sans had called her back before he gave her her name. Back when he didn’t trust her. “You can’t just accept someone to be family and not have them directly connected to everyone else.”
“Where are you going with this?” She didn’t like it.
“Make a decision, girl. Us or him. Because I refuse to be, in any way, connected to that monster.” He leaned towards her, awaiting an answer.
Meanwhile, she was fuming. A human referring to a monster as a monster was one thing, but a monster referring to a monster as a monster was another. It was a something you never heard from a monster in the Underground. It was the worse kind of verbal attack.
“I’d rather be related to what you call a monster then someone who acts like one.” She said in a dark tone, her eyes brown once again. This was entirely her decision. Or, at least, she believed it was.
Sans gaze hardened and his right hand snapped closed, Arial’s soul appearing in front of her as it became a dark blue. Without a second’s hesitation he threw her against the wall of the lab, holding her there. “Fine then.” He said through his gritted smile. “Then, as far as I’m concerned, all you are is just another human in the Underground. You can figure out a way to take care of yourself.” He turned around, beginning to walk out the door. “By the way, if I see you in here at all, I will not hesitate to kill you.”
As soon as he was around the corner the blue magic wore off and Arial was left to sink down to the ground. She sat there a few minutes, staring at the doorway partly covered in snow with his footprints leading in and then out. Did that really just happen? Did Sans really just.. She stared at her hands for a few moments before she stood up. She walked over to the the large control panel that hooked up to the UTM. She typed in some random code, not really caring as she did so as she was still so blind with rage. She took one look over the table to find the small device she would need and spotted it. It was a black rectangle, slightly longer than her hand and bulky enough so she couldn’t fit her entire hand around it. She grabbed it and looked down at it, the code she put in showing on the screen of the device. She took a deep breath, looking back at the exit before jabbing the button that sent her across to another universe. Only one thought lingered before she did:
What have I done?
