Ah I like that idea!

I think that a kind of modus like that would work a bit like Caliborn and Calliope’s shared JuJu modus!

Here’s how I think it’d work:

Two people (obviously) must be ‘playing’ in order to retrieve and captchalogue items.

Both 'players’, owners of the modus, can freely captchalogue anything, but they must play and capture pieces on a modus-provided chessboard to retrieve items. And the players must play traditionally and by the rules.

Also, either player can only retrieve items that the opposing player captchalogues.

So, if you were to share this modus with someone, it may be a while before you see something you’ve captchalogued again.

Yes, there are plenty of Mane 6 x Mane 6 ships I like! I don’t think I can say I truly dislike any of the possible combinations because there’s always a piece of art out there that really sells me on it. I reblog a lot of MLP ship art on my reblog account @kindheart-reblogs but if I think about the dynamics themselves I guess some of my favorites are:

Rarity x Rainbow Dash - They’re similar levels of dramatic which makes their dynamic really funny, but there’s something about a jock like Rainbow Dash becoming protective and supportive towards her fashionista girlfriend that I really love

Rarity x Applejack - A classic, they have their arguments but seem really good at resolving them and finding common ground (as opposed to AJ and RD who are just competition-driven). They have similar values around work ethic despite their differing lifestyles, something they could compromise on

Twilight x Applejack AND Twilight x Rarity - The smartest and most levelheaded members of the Mane 6, they could both be some real power couples

Rarity x Fluttershy - Besties to lovers! They have a lot in common and Rarity could really help Fluttershy out of her shell

Rarity x Pinkie - Refined fashionista and her fun party girlfriend! I think they could really think out of the box and create something fun together

Twilight x Rainbow Dash - I do not think they should get married but the jock x nerd deal they have appeals to me

Yes actually! Charlie reminds me quite a bit of my dad sometimes, at least if he were older and had his shit together more. That time he said “Godspeed and safe travels brotha” to Roy Dismey was verbatim something my dad would say, and plenty of other antics of my dad’s feel very Charlie-esque. I love my dad and I love Charlie so I enjoy the little moments where those similarities show!

Pim loves his job as a steward of the Sun. We welcomes each day with enthusiasm and sometimes causes heat waves from getting too excited! Charlie isn’t nearly as enthused and sometimes doesn’t do his job as well as he should (leading to mild winters) but he gets it done at the end of the day. They work together to bring balance to the seasons and keep the world smiling!
