Well look who decided to draw Judal again.

Why was the magi here?

Sinbad has had his fill of the Kou recently. Kouen was shedding on his things and being domineering, Kyogyoku lurked behind pillars and around corners, and Hakuryuu was being... Himself, as usual. If not for examples like Hakuei, he might start to think there was something in the empire's water that made all of its residents a bit crazy.

Though something did seem off about this. Usually, when Judal wanted his attention, he made a show of it: he froze the harbor, he iced over one of the towers. He made it impossible to ignore him, floating and zipping around, yelling his demands for everyone to hear. He wasn't one to simply walk in like this. It was too... human, for him. So, despite his better judgement, Sinbad does not immediately reach for his sword.

This was likely another game of Judal's, some act to get the king unbalanced and exploit it. The cloth is covered in red dye. He hurt himself to get close enough to the "idiot king" to give him a good shock. This is meant to distract him from something else. Really, the possibilities were numerous, but until an alarm was sounded, Sinbad was willing to take this at face value. Somehow, he had the energy left.

"Judal," he greets the magi, simply enough. He stands from the bench he was sitting on -- he had been trying to enjoy the morning peace of the courtyard, when it was still cool and the birds chirped -- and turns to face the magi. "Looks like someone finally gave you a good smack upside the head. Whoever it was, is a friend of mine."

Judal woke up in an unknown place, he couldn't remember his name, nor where he came from, but he did feel some sort of magic in him, and he did see black rukuh flying around him. But to him, the rukuh were just some black flying butterflies to him. He could feel that his head was bleeding, and it still was, since the blood was dripping from his face.

He touched the blood with the tip of his fingers, gazing down at it, it was moist, still fresh, so he must have hurt his head not long ago. But who did this to him? And why? Maybe he just fell?
