First of all, wow. I was really REALLY touched by this lovely anon. I started this blog and expected it to only last a few weeks, but I never thought I'd reach 200+ followers and receive all the love and praise you guys have given me. I didn't really leave much of an explanation for my absence of several months, but I can sum it up in two words - real life.

In the time this blog was sleeping, I was the host of an awards banquet for a couple hundred of fellow students. I had a script I needed to memorize, people I had to talk to, and a LOT of preparation just to set up the location. I also had to greet our guests and introduce them to my instructors, which was an amazing experience. I was thrown a surprise/goodbye party by the students on my academic team, I went to prom, and I graduated high school. I had to go to Tennessee for my great-uncle's funeral, I went to orientation for the school I'm going to next year, and I've been hunting for a job all around town... It's a lot harder IRL than just doing repeatable quests for the Jarl's Steward. 

I've also been distracted by other forms of entertainment - I'm working on my Hall of Monuments for Guild Wars 2, satisfying my Binding of Isaac and Pokemon addictions, I finished all of Avatar: The Last Airbender (and I'm reading a glorious fic about it called "What I Learned at SRU":), and I'm reading up on tao and Lord of the Rings. I've spent as much time with my friends as possible before I go to college as well. I'm also trying to fit in roleplaying with my boyfriend and my old RP groups.

There are a few other reasons I left, too. Sometime around April I became absolutely sick to my stomach of Skyrim. Keep in mind I played it every single day since Christmas and had seven characters I was jumping between. I can't even find the enthusiasm to be excited about Dawnguard coming out on PS3 later this month, sadly. I also went through a rather cruel writer's block concerning Farengar and opted to spend some extra time away to try and get over it. I think this has to do with the fic I was trying to write and failed miserably at continuing...

Now, that's enough excuses. I'm leaving for college on August 25th and going to the beautiful Florida State University to study Nursing. Before then, though, I don't really have anything planned except for hanging out and playing videogames all summer. I think it's high time I resurrected everyone's favorite grump of a dragon-fetishist and start answering my backlog of questions/insults.
