A Tomesode also sports the crest [up to three] of the family that the wearer belongs with, as well as shorter sleeves than the other styles due to the duties married women have. And the designs never reach above the waistline, and the colors are much more restricted.

So I personally don’t like to wear them, sorry Thatch.”

Thatch: “Once is enough, but you know if you want to wear it privately I won’t complain.”

Izo: “People gifted with beautiful red locks such as yourself should really show them off. We recommend working with colors that compliment the red like red, blue, and violet. Green and by extension Teal are Red’s opposites but when they’re placed side by side they really help each other out.”

Thatch: “Also, black and white go with anything, and you are definitely rocking out those colors!”

Izo: *peeks out of a pile of kimonos with large starry eyes* My dear, these are all so beautiful! And the fabrics, the prints! And the colors! Oh look at this one, Thatch honey do you see this!

Thatch: *nodding along* I can see everything you can Izzy, these are all wonderful and will suit you well.

Izo: I’m glad you asked! Personally I love the softer pastel shades like lilac, periwinkle, and yes pink is a definite shoe-in for the top spot. Also it helps that my birthday colors are pink/purple/teal.

As for my favorite style of kimono, I would have to day the Hikizuri!

Thatch: I keep telling Izo that he should wear Tomesode’s more often.

Izo: Those are for married women, Thatch.
