Yeah, one more answer. I have already finished the session, but there are a lot of things to do, so I have not done much drawing recently but I hope to fix this as soon as possible
Haiii ^^ im a big fan of your art!! i think its totally rad & i was wondering how you render/color folds on clothing? the shapes you use are very interesting !
i tend to try nd simplify clothing folds into straight or curved lines for ease of drawing - my favourite way to do it is to ink a few lines in black and then use 2-3 lighter colors for depth, i think it looks cool that way :-)
(sketchy examples)
(cleaner examples - i also like to use screentones on dark/black clothing and occasionally on color - generally i try to avoid using screentones excessively, so i only use them for blush, hair details, and black clothing/items)
i also tend to just draw by eye and looking at clothes irl, but i would recommend drapery studies to help add accuracy to your cartoony drawings

hell yeah!! first pic's some pest outfit concepts i sketched out about yesterday or the night before, while the 2nd is from a couple of days before i started sketching ch1 lol. third pic is an old jaundice from prob about early-mid 2024. and the last 3 are really really early drawings of savory/(now krankenstein) with some ref to an old oc he was loosely based off (his ancestor ig lol), and another character who was pretty quickly scrapped but more or less served the same role as novocaine in the plot! i call him dr. protonovo lol
