mice and i were talking about it earlier but i think wreckers will sometimes, as a tradition, spar to hold their child or another's child. like the idea is silly to me.
like when prince was born, bulkhead obviously got to hold him first because he made sure to go to the wishing well alone and you can wish for a baby on your own. but anyway, as a joke, wheeljack was like "i'll fight ya to hold your baby" and bulkhead and him had a friendly spar to decide who gets to hold prince.
wheeljack's spouses, optimus and ratchet, weren't super keen on the idea of sparring with him to hold a baby but he recalled to them how his parents would sometimes spar each other just to hold him lol
I feel like some people don't know that the reason Sabo remembered Ace and Luffy is because of the specific wording in the article. Sakazuki is Akainu's name, but it's also the name of the ritual Ace, Sabo, and Luffy did to become brothers. It was the combination of these names (Ace, Luffy, Sakazuki) that allowed him to regain his memories. Whenever Sabo heard of Fire Fist Ace before, he had some level of familiarity toward the name. But it's the combination of these words, not the act of Ace dying, that breaks through his amnesia.
