hello!! okay so i am not a movie/tv girl at all so i fear my answers are gonna be lame as fuck but my all time FAVORITE movie is Matilda... i really resonated with her as a kid and still love that movie to this day. it's such a huge source of comfort :,)
another honorable mention is Sinners. i know it only came out recently but it took one watch for it to be right up there with Matilda LMAO

matilda, hands-down. as a relatively strange gifted child (hello undiagnosed autism) with a rough relationship with her family, that movie was and is incredibly cathartic and comforting. naturally i've also headcanonned miss honey as a femme and she is absolutely who i want to be with i grow up. fun fact: i've watched matilda so many times that i can hum along to the entire score as it plays during the movie ๐

i really like how excited i get about the things i love/my special interests. sometimes i get embarrassed of it if i get too excited talking to other people, but divorced from internalized judgement, i actually find it very endearing hehe. i also love that other people find me a safe person to ramble about their interests toโ it always feels really special to learn about what people love most and i always try to make my interest and curiosity very clear, because that how i show and like to be shown love the most!
