â° after being kidnapped
It was his 21st birthday today, and he decided that before all the chaos and raving would happen, he would treat himself to a nice quiet morning out on the town. So he woke up extra early and got himself a nice and filling breakfast. Once he had finished his pancakes and eggs he payed the check, tipped what was due and left.
Walking down the street while everyone was still groggy from sleep was nice. Nobody would talk to him or bump into him. It was the perfect time, too. Far too early for raging drivers and socs to be passing down the street, but still to late for joggers to run down and sholder check him. He smiled and sighed. This was wonderful.
But little did he know, this near nirvana would be over soon.
He was too slow. The car had already pulled up next to him and yanked him in. He was quickly blindfolded and gagged. His arms tied behind him as finally the panic set in. He let out a muffled scream and yelled at his captors.
Someone chuckled and his chest grew tight. Shit. He began kicking and swinging his long legs around, quickly gaining the advantage when he felt a body near the end of his foot. He aimed both his feet in the direction and made a fast stomping motion. There was a grunt and a groan. Curly cheered for himself in his head, but this victory was short lived.
Suddenly, the car stopped, throwing his body into whatever was in front of him. He made a noise on impact.
"Christ, Curly!! We was only playing!!" He heard. A young and shook voice. The blind fold was pulled off of him, revealing his friends. A small gang he had recruited when Tim refused to let him in his gang. He cheeks turned red. "We was gonna take you to the club, since you're 21 'nd all..." one explained. "We didn't mean to scare ya or nothing!" A younger boy called.
He rolled his eyes and groaned. Seriously? He thought to himself. He sat up, growling and grumbling. An older boy, one of his closer friends, Mark, laughed from his place in the drivers seat. "What's wrong? He give yall a hard time?" He chuckled. He turned in his seat and leaned over it, reaching down and pulling off the gag. "Happy birthday, birthday boy." He hummed, a shit-eatting grin crawling up on his face. Curly glared and was about to say something when the trunk suddenly opened.
"Hey ya'll! Sorry I'm late!" The person said. The voice tugged at his heart and he turned to look at the guest. He was closing the trunk, his auburn-red hair tied back into a small ponytail. His green-grey eyes made contact with Curly's and he swore he could have melted right then and there. "Oh, jeez, Curls! They really did it!" He exclaimed in a worried voice. That nickname coming out of those lips was enough to make Curly keep quiet. Ponyboy had grown into a fine young man at 19. He would be turning 20 soon though and Curly already knew what he had planned for his birthday.
"Ya'll tied his hands behind his back and everything!" The youngest Curtis pointed out, huffing at this fact. Curly watched as his body turned and he scolded the boys in the back. "....You coulda darn near gave him a heart attack!" Was all Curly could hear before drifting off into lala land, watching Pony slip off his sweater to reveal his track uniform underneath. Curly let out a breath. Then the car jerked. Pony and the other boys squeaked as he hopped up along with the car.
"We're heading down to the club whether ya'll are ready or not!" Mark called. Curly watched as all his friends broke out into smiles and laughter. Curly smiled and laughed along with his friends.
