Yes, I have a cute Kitty named Chance, she's a diva. We have a Chiweenie named CiCi and a Boxer named Duke, who's very photogenic if he wants to be.

It really is so, so true; an animal can make you take care of yourself.

It's kind of like, when the oxygen masks come down on an airplane, you put yours in before helping others, because you can't help others if you pass out. Having animals helps you take care of yourself so you can be around to keep them alive and happy.

Also, an object in motion stays in motion. They can motivate you to get out of bed and do things, and while you're doing things, you may as well take care of yourself! You have good food in the house, may as well eat it.
