Would you rather choose a major that guarantees a job with a good salary after graduation but you are not a big fan of it, or choose a major that potentially intrigues you but offers no guaranteed job, where the salary depends on your hard work and a bit of luck?

oh the second option 100%; having a job that u hate is a misery guarantee, it's much better to do something you think you'd enjoy despite the road there being uncertain, besidess...a lot can change in a few years but that also depends on your level of discontent with your first major. from the tone of the message, they both feel kinda in the middle (you're not a big fan of the first one, and the 2nd one only intrigues you, so we're not talking about love/hate here) so if you don't think you'll dislike the job too much, then pick the first option and save the second one as a plan B/ 'side hussle'/ passion thing etc. nothing is as set in stone as you think so just go with the flow of things~~~

#it's about being able to look at yourself in the mirror and not feel like you've betrayed yourself #like idk for example if i were to be a lawyer when deep down i know i have no interest/passion for this job i'd really hate myself #no matter how big the pay #and that's just no way to live #imo at least #ask iztea
