Have you ever owned a piece of clothing that could more than 1K? Have you ever gotten a piercing/tattoo and instantly regretted it? Have you ever fallen into a large body of water? Have you ever regretted anything you've done to your blorbos?
Nah, I figure I'll get shit on something like Day 1. So...I'd take that money and put it towards my Ranger collection, if I had it to just throw at a piece of clothing. A new figure or something would bring me daily joy...
I don't have any tattoos...yet. I'm thinking about it because I have vitiligo (I'm Caucasian so its not super obvious). Apparently getting tattoos can trigger it to start growing. I'm too lazy to look up the term; its 'something' effect. So we'll see. I have a nose ring, double lobe piercings, my daith pierced, an orbital ring, and a naval ring. I have another ear piercing but I can't remember what its' called. I regret none of them except when my jeans rub against my belly ring lol
Hmmmm largest body of water I've fallen into is the toilet when my hubby left the seat up. So.... lol
Actually yes. There are two that stand out right now that legit I cried real ass tears over. One was when Jason was crying for his mother in Drakkon's cell. And the second was when I wrote Red finding out that Garrett is 'gone' ie: dead. And his heartbroken 'its ok, kiddo...its ok, kiddo' to himself. I'm choked up sobbing...then I'm like 'bitch, you're the author. Wave your little wand!' But I...can't. Because the story demands it be this way. :(
omg if you pass the dead boy detectives wall can you please post a pic
Hiya!
Knowing this is in my neighborhood did absolute wonders for my motivation to go for a mental health walk today.
Voila!
It’s still a work in progress but I can update when it’s finished.

I just started A Series of Rooms, and I love it! Super-stoked that there’s gonna be a novella coming out soon too ❤️
Thank you so much! I'm glad to hear you're loving it and that you're stoked for the novella.
Hoping to post the cover reveal and official blurb for the novella soon :)
Hi, huge fan of your work! I just wanted to say thank you so much. Your work is beautifully written. And it’s so special getting to read in a world where maybe Black characters weren’t included but you gave them a space. Particularly for us, Black Women. I just read some of your new Masters in the Air stories & I loved it. Especially knowing what was going on in the world during that time. You made a story for us, so thank you again!
thank you so much for this. I’ve been writing for almost 10 years and I noticed the lack of representation for us Black women in all types of stories. we deserve to be represented in all aspects, even if we know it wasn’t the case historically (like in the context of this story). Black women should be able to fantasize like everyone else. it is a joy and privilege to serve you.
so, for those who have commented about me only writing for Black women in the past, let this ask show you why I do what I do.
Do you have any tips for showing different textures? Mine always turn out exactly the same.
Hey Luv, sorry about the delay.
My biggest tip to you, is to be an observer of nature. If there's something you want to draw, really look at it. What are the colors? Where are the shadows? How does light reflect on it? That's been the most helpful tip I've ever gotten as an artist.
But if you're looking for a quick fix, I'll share a little cheat sheet I made with you ;)
1) Start with a base gradient
2) For shiny surfaces, start with a brighter color and add the light patterns. For duller surfaces, used a shadow color and add the shadow patterns
3) For shiny surfaces, add your block shadows. For duller surfaces, add your lines, details, and highlights
And that's it. Hope you found this at least a little useful. Best of luck my Luv, and stay awesome <3 <3
