Established in 2017 by co-founders Ashley Cimone and Moya Annece, ASHYA (pronounced âagh-shyaâ)  is a New Yorkâbased design label featuring unisex travel accessories. ASHYA is dedicated to creating well-crafted purposeful designs that unify luxury and utilitarian  principles.
ASHYA exists as a vehicle to diversify cultural perspectives through broadly researched narratives and design. By documenting and sharing cultural stories, and designing multifunctional accessories, we hope to help the modern day explorer move more thoughtfully and fluidly throughout the world. Each collection emerges as an âode to explorationâ, a motto that speaks to the process of understanding a diverse array of cultural narratives. The design label is a recent award recipient for the 2018-2019 Council of Fashion Designers of America, Inc. (CFDA) and Accessories Council Elaine Gold Launch Pad Fellowship.

âMy dress is a vintage find, the shoes are Camper, and the bag is one of our latest Ashya AW19 designs. Iâm inspired by my travels, often picking things up in new places. Iâm also inspired by my community and love to support emerging designer. Phoebe Philoâs work has inspired a lot of my closet edits but Iâm often reinventing pieces and just evolving my younger style.â
