Gift giving, locally
I feel like I am constantly buying gifts. Not that I mind, giving is much more enjoyable to me than buying for myself (unless we are talking a great new pair of Frye boots from Bittersweet!). We just sent my dad a package last month for his birthday: Mad Hatter hot sauce which he loved, a few man-gifts from O'Suzannah. Now it's Father's Day and I was lost on what to get him.
My folks are planning a cross country trip from my home state of Washington to come visit amazing Virginia in October. My dad can drive for days, stopping to meander at literally every road side attraction. What better gift for him than to buy them both passes to all the wonderful places around this beautiful town?? On the list: Monticello, Ashlawn, Montpelier, and Michie Tavern. Pretty great gift for a pretty swell Papa!
