Do you have fanfic Ashlander honorifics in place of settled-Dunmer terms? Like canon has khan, but what about wise-women? Tribesfolk?
Really, just stuff from my conlang that's translations of the words we know, eg. wise woman = Sintushpi, which can act as a title/honorific. A few other related words, but calling them "honorifics" is a bit strong: arash(i) = clanfriend(s) erin-ilu = clan-sister (i.e. woman of similar age to you in your tribe) erish-ilu = clan-brother (male equivalent)
Some of it I do grammatically, rather than with vocab, e.g. there are forms of speech that are used only with other clan members (ilu-azuni = clanspeech), and others that are only used with outsiders. From my notes:
Formal/informal speech
This might be better defined as inside/outside speech, as the distinction does not seem to be formality, exactly. Ashlanders will use informal conjugations not just with family, but with their own khans, wise women, and even their own ancestors in ritual phrasings, in fact, to do otherwise would be offensive. What is implied by the usage is that it is in-group speech, words shared within a clan. Thus formal speech is reserved for outsiders of all kinds, friendly or hostile, high status or low.
I like this idea, because when you speak to Ashlanders ingame, they are very blunt, very direct. They don't call you Muthsera, they call you "outlander", or they call you by your name, if they like you. They are similarly blunt when speaking of other tribesmembers - there's respect, but not much in the way of fussy wording.
I also have people refer to their khans as "khan-huhl", which sounds like it might be an honorific, and it sort of is, but it just means "my khan". For Ashlanders as I write them, it's that closeness and mutual bond that are important, and the language expresses that, rather than asserts hierarchy directly. Respect is, of course, implied by that bond, but it goes both ways.
