I was tagged by the beautiful bookstacksonbooks to do the fangirl survey and it looks like fun so here goes :)

1. What was your first fictional crush?

Hmmmm this is hard I can’t really remember crushing too hard on anyone before Quigley Quagmire was introduced in ASOUE. The hinted kiss between him and Violet and that whole part of book 10 about their relationship definitely left its mark, i’m still a little in love with him.

2. When/How did you discover fanfiction?

When fanfic first became a ‘thing’ I kind of avoided it because it was mostly associated with the twilight saga etc and was deemed pretty weird at my school. However when I got a little older like 17 and I fell in love with different novels characters, I felt like I wanted more of them than was given in the novels - hence the reading of fanfic. 

3. What’s the weirdest fanfic you’ve ever read?

I don’t really read weird fanfic haha sorry!

4. What was the first fandom you joined? (Not specifically a Tumblr one, just a group that all had a common interest)

A Series of Unfortunate Events 100%. I fell in love with the world of Lemony Snicket when I was around 7 years old and then carried that love with me for all my life so far. Once I was old enough to use the computer I used to look up ASOUE in a desire to know all there is to know about the characters, back stories, plot lines etc and that’s how I found tumblr!

5.  Have you ever named anything after a book/TV show? Or plan to?

I will most definitely be naming my children after literary characters in the future!

7. Do you own any fan merchandise for something ? If so, what? If not, what would you have?

I have the ASOUE video game and a signed copy of The Grim Grotto, I also had ‘ The World Is Quiet Here’ engraved onto the back of my ipod. I’m planning a literary tattoo idea soon too! 8. If you had the opportunity to be part of your favourite book or TV series   would you want to be? Or would you rather stay an observer?

I would love to be an insider in ASOUE so I could be a real volunteer and get to learn the secrets of the sugar bowl and VFD!

9. When did you join Tumblr?

I have had tumblr on and off for different reasons for the past 5 years. 10. If you had to pick one fictional boyfriend or girlfriend, who would it be a why?

Damn this is a hard one, but I think I would choose Noah Shaw from The Mara Dyer Trilogy. He is SO sexy and gorgeous (In my head) as well as kind and I feel like he would treat me right ahah! Hmmm in my dreams hey?

1. Name a book you’re embarrassed to say you haven’t read yet. Any J.R.R Tolkien book. I have tried and failed many times.

2. What is the strangest thing you’ve ever used as a bookmark? My favorite bookmarks are old middle/high school lunch card and ids. 

3. Look at your bookshelf. What’s the first book you see with a yellow spine? The Norton Anthology of British Literature volume 2. I'm at college so my choices are limited.

4. If you could have one new book from a deceased author, who would it be? John Milton (who wrote Paradise Lost) writes epic poems but they are the length of books....

5. Name an author who deserves more readership. Jennifer L. Armentrout, her Lux Series is beautiful.
