Super excited to announce that I will be in a group exhibition with the one and only @akemiart and @artofedge! Plantains & Pigments explores our shared Nigerian heritage and our creative works as illustrators and artists. 

I am such a huge fan of Akem and Edge. Akem creates these effortless figures in magical environments with vibrant colors, textures, and use of shape. Edge combines ornate line and rich color with such power, subtlety, mystery. and grace.

Once I realized we were all in the Vancouver area I knew that a sacred connection brought us together for a reason. We all have similar backgrounds and inspirations, and seeing where our expression and visual language crosses over and differs is such an exciting journey!
