nat 1, nat 20, 14 and 12 !!
nat 1. most memorable crit fail?
Just to throw in another nat 1 moment I remember during our first session we were in a swamp and naturally I rolled a 1 for Dex. Edmund fell face first into the fucking mud. What a way to start off the campaign.
nat 20. most memorable crit success?
I don’t know if I’ve ever discussed this on tumblr before but for over a year I was in a campaign based around a fantasy version of Australia in the 1900s where I played a tiny, Frilled Neck Lizard Cleric called Nuff. I clearly remember we were breaking in to this evil old man’s house, who had a group of firbolg women locked up in his barn as his slaves. The guy turned on us with a gun and during combat I LEAPED at him and landed on his face (Picture a tiny screaming frill neck lizard) and I rolled a nat 20 on an Inflict wounds spell attack AND HE DIED INSTANTLY.
14. a common stereotype about players that applies to you?
Besides the classic dice hoarding stereotype, I don’t know if this counts as a stereotype but I’m such a sucker for the roleplaying aspects of DnD? I’m so heavily focused on the story elements that I’m never bothered if we have a whole session of just interacting with NPCs or talking to each other in character with zero combat. Also I never shut up about dnd.
12. how long have you been playing dnd for?
I think it’s getting to around 4 years now!!
