Fuck what my photography teacher is trying to change this into. THIS ONES FOR YOU TUMBLR IM MAKING A PHOTO SERIES OF REAL QUEER PEOPLE AND STRIPPING AWAY WORDS PRONOUNS NAMES EVERYTHING BECAUSE THE FOCUS IS: THE HUMANITY OF QUEER PEOPLE. BECAUSE CIS PEOPLE ACT LIKE WE’RE A DIFFERENT SPECIES. IM THINKING MOSTLY PORTRAITS BUT FROM INTERESTING ANGLES AND KINDA APPLY TO THE SUBJECTS AS THEIR ACTUAL SELVES. BECAUSE TOO MANY PEOPLE SEE QUEER PEOPLE FOR WHAT THEY IDENTIFY AS AND SHUT THEM DOWN AS SOON AS THEY DONT RECOGNIZE THE BINARY GENDERS. IM NOT BEING THE EDUCATIONAL MARTYR THAT ANSWERS CIS PEOPLES QUESTIONS BUT IM GETTING VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE TO OPEN THEIR EYES AND EVEN CONSIDER TRYING TO UNDERSTAND OUR LIVES.

Good News
I GOT AN ART INTERNSHIP! I am going to be working in a gallery from 9-5 3 days a week for 6 months. I will be helping with the daily operations, potentially helping getting Tumblr and/or Instagram up and running for the gallery, and helping the owner create her own art pieces. I even get a stipend which is icing on the cake. I will be learning so much and making awesome art world connections... I feel like every day there will be taking a step in the right direction towards my future.
