Greed consumes even the wisest and can create disaster if we don't act on it. Here, the djentlemen are trying to refer to humans as a whole and not any particular person. Our ability to suppress these evils determine how we can live happily with satisfaction. “When we were writing the riffs we hadn't planned something so aggressive. But after we finished the song the power that emanated from it made us think, "Why not use this aggressive tone?". We wanted to have an impact similar to the great songs with which audiences could relate to. 'Maraud' is our attempt at establishing this relationship with the audience. It is our protest against the greed as we wanted to portray in the line "reveal the fucking truth" and we want people to use our song as a medium of drawing courage and strength to fight the unjust and unfair.
