I don't know. You should also ask me what's wrong with Cody, and I don't know that either. There is something fundamentally misaligned in both of them and you can't possibly discern what it is. If this story had an actual plot or substance or anything I would be able to tell you. It doesn't and I can't.
For what it's worth, Obi-Wan is just how I would write regular Obi-Wan, if he was hypothetically in a crack fic where Cody kept trying to kill him and he encourages it. I think this Cody is who regular Cody is inside, and desperately wants to be, but he represses that. This one is also insanely repressed in the inverted way.
Considering how he was lying about the saber class thing, I think he would also lie about the first most traumatizing thing. Who knows. I think his friends would guess "Qui-Gon Jinn". Obi-Wan says they're just projecting.
