Visionaries Never Give UP
Over the last month I have made amazing pivots forward. Iâm now deep into my junior year as a Computer Science major. I have been notified that I am on path to either graduate with my class in May 2018 or earlier if I choose to do so. I am also proud that my professional life is evolving to become a great experience career wise.
A couple weeks ago, I was awarded a top Computer Science scholarship in the state of Arkansas as one of the top CS students. Soon after, I was selected to go to the first ever ArSAAM Summit. The Summit was a really great networking, learning, growth, and development experience. Each are a great honors, and they are highly appreciated.
Over the course of the last month, Iâve grown new ideas and new parts of a bigger and enhanced vision for the future. Last weekend, I watched an amazing episode on the History Channel on visionaries. What caught my attention was the part where it discussed Steve Jobs and the iPhone. See, people thought that Jobs built the iPhone to connect the world, however scientist believe he created it, to be a step forward towards enlightenment.
Steve spent a lot of time in nature, in the woods of California, and in India, meditating about how to change the world. It is suggested that he was able to connect with source, and that source could have given Jobs his mission to redefine the definition of an Apple, thus became one of the most successful CEOs in history.
What we can take away from this is being one with yourself and knowing what you truly want can change your life. I believe if you can dream it you are already a visionary! The key is to capitalize on your dreams. There is a saying, âGod gives everyone at least three dreams each yearâ. However, not everyone goes after their dreams. Nevertheless, you should go after them, we donât pick dreams they pick us!
Lastly, what I want you to know that if something doesnât workout, you didnât fail. If you are working towards your goals, you are failing forward. Never let anyone tell you that you are not good enough, human potential is infinite!
Keep positive vibes and doors will open where there were once walls!!!
