Quick thoughts

- shirtless Oliver, really don’t like watching him in pain BUT he’s shirtless, that helps

- Lots of interesting things in the flashbacks, why finally see why Oliver thought he was so horrible in Season 1. I really like that it has come full circle

- Konstin Kovar was a truly great villain. Having him and Adrian in the same episode shows how weak a villain Diaz is. 

- I have to say the idea to use sarin gas on a casino full of people in Russia was crass, wasn’t that what was used to kill the people in the theatre?

- Oliver looks especially hot fighting Kovar.

- I don’t believe Oliver kills because he wanted to or liked it

- He looks so sad and hot AT THE SAME TIME

- I really liked the Bratva tattoo - I was sorry to see it go

- Nice to have the flashback where he go the tattoo

- Malcolm saves Kovar....of course

- I missed the team searching for him in this episode, they REALLY should have shown this. 

- You can tell Felicity aches to take care of him - it’s heartbreaking and he won’t look at her....OH THE ANGST!

Quick Thoughts

- Oliver looks soo hot in that winter parka - he really doesn’t need to be shirtless when he has good hair and scruff

- Felicity looks so happy at Helix, but she still sees the potential for bad

- Oliver’s anger toward Chase is awesome and I really do love how cool a bad guy Adrian Chase was

- Oliver missing Felicity sigh

- I’m good if Susan dies - just putting that out there

- I never should have gotten involved with Susan what was I thinking? You were lonely, man. - I was so happy about this that I missed Oliver implies again he shouldn’t be with someone because he wears the hood - then Felicity walks in the door...I wish she could have corrected that train of thought 

- Oliver’s conversation with Felicity was SO WONDERFUL! Why? Because they talked...so rare for this show. Breaks my heart that Felicity was surprised to hear Oliver was worried about her. Oliver trusting her was sweet but stupid...he should have pushed

- The Bratva stuff is awesome

- Pike! No!

- Good on Curtis for calling out Felicity’s illegal hacking

- Oliver’s throwing himself a pity party - glad John is there but he never let himself get close with Susan - I watched the show, I know this even if the writers do not

- Adrian killing his wife - didn’t see that coming....

- Felicity looked strickened about Oliver being taken. I swear if he’s been with them when they came back, Felicity would have launched herself at him.

- Helix is going to take advantage of Felicity - there is nothing she won’t do to find Oliver

- Adrian Chase is so bad he’s awesome - hanging out at the cop shop, making Oliver disappear while saying the Green Arrow killed his wife and that he’s in mourning! Threatening to send Oliver back in pieces! Damn!

- Talia working with Adrian always seemed odd. It’s not like he knew he was killing Talia’s father. 

- So Chase is going to help Oliver discover who he really is?

- No shirtless Oliver but I’m STILL okay.

-Season 5 tally- 3/16 episodes with shirtless Oliver.

Quick Thoughts

- I admit, I am STILL angry with Oliver from the episode - it’s been over a year and I’ll never forgive.

- I know people think Oliver is stupid or at least does stupid things especially in the early seasons but I never thought that. Still don’t. Oliver never behaved stupidly in my opinion until this and the previous episode.

- The fact that he thought it was okay to ask Felicity to help him with his girlfriend and continued to push after Felicity looked hurt and said with her words this wrong - UNFREAKING FORGIVEABLE!

This by far my favourite Felicity dress!

- Then Susan complains to his face that she can’t out him as the Green Arrow and he continues to feel bad FOR HER and blame Thea and Felicity! WTF?

- Yes, blackmailing the councilmen was not cool, surprised Felicity was down with it but this is her dark time. Would have been cooler if Felicity did not out Thea to Oliver - but she did - WHY DIDN’T WE SEE THAT CONVERSATION?

- The vigliante is stupid

- Adrian Chase is Prometheus - it would have been awesome if I hadn’t seen it speculated - hence, I no longer read spec or spoilers.

- Despite his CONSTANT stupidity - to the point, I thought he was playing Susan at the time - he really couldn’t be this dumb. HE IS SO SO SO HOT!

- Looking at the pretty helps this horrid episode go down - like a spoon full of sugar...

- Oliver throwing the Green Arrow under the bus...the Green Arrow is not a hero. Now I REALLY HURT. 

- How can he want there to be an US? Oliver clearly did not hit his head hard enough!!

- I don’t think Thea is broken - more stupidness

- Poor Curtis he didn’t see those divorce papers coming at all

- Felicity joins Helix

- Adrian taking Susan makes me SO HAPPY

-Season 5 tally- 3/15 episodes with shirtless Oliver.

Quick Thoughts

- This episode had such potential! They never should have let the AWFUL WRITING happen!

- Oliver going to visit Prometheus’ mother as the Mayor was just weird - why would a Mayor make that kind of visit?

- Quentin’s guilt about Liza makes NO SENSE

- Susan asking if Oliver was the Green Arrow and Oliver thinking he had it handled - makes no sense, he’s killed people for knowing his secret. Yes, Thea may have gone a tad too far but I get why she did what she did and Oliver has a great deal of nerve judging her.

- Susan told Oliver that she had all the information to out him as Bratva and the Green Arrow and yet he still thinks she’s a good person who deserves sympathy. Someone tell this man that his relationship was shame and she was just using him for a story because he apparently has suddenly been struck dumb.

- Liza, Carrie and China White - could have been such awesome bad guys of the week - such a waste of fabulousness

- Having the ACU find out that Oliver Queen killed Billy Malone as a b storyline - REALLY?! You could have made an episode or more out of this.

- Felicity and Thea being besties warms my heart!

- LOVED the sexual tension with Olicity

- Really Oliver Queen is BEYOND HOT - THE HAIR, the suits - the everything!

- Liked how sweet Felicity was giving Dinah her mask. So much cuteness!

- The fact that Pike - a cop - does not recognize Oliver is just plain stupid

- Oliver telling Thea she’s like Moira is TOO MUCH. I wish he could have talked to Felicity about this - somehow I think he would have handled this better

 - Russia Oliver still VERY HOT

- Poor Oliver...people finding out about the cover up, I’m only shocked Susan Williams didn’t find a way to report it...

- No shirtless Oliver but he looks so good in his suits do we really need shirtlessness at this point? 

-Season 5 tally- 3/14 episodes with shirtless Oliver.

Quick Thoughts

- Half considered skipping this episode

- It was always a bit rich for Arrow to do an episode on guns - they use them all the time.

- Thea is back - LOVE every bit of truth tea she spills about the Dragon Lady and Rene.

- But to have a gun episode and not have Felicity have an opinion - WRONG WRONG WRONG. However, as I rewatch I think maybe she doesn’t want anyone to talk about it because she does have an opinion - she is too upset to hear anything about it - and no one notices this. She says there is no point in debating with Curtis - I still think she’s uncomfortable with the topic

- It would have been really nice to see the phone call where Oliver calls Felicity to tell her about the shooting at City Hall and reassures her he is alright...but MG is awful - so we didn’t get that.

- This also the episode with the Rene flashbacks that were supposed to make you like him - BIG FAIL.

- I personally, can only see one side of this and it’s one of the reasons I could never live in the US. I have no need for someone tell me the otherside I can’t hear it. I hate guns. I grew up with hunting rifles locked away and was okay with those for years then my friend accidentally killed his father with one while they were hunting - so basically no. I don’t like anything that is designed for sole purpose to kill. Off my soapbox now. 

- I commented at the time and again - it’s weird that they had the city councilwoman look JUST LIKE Susan Williams...

- Oliver ordinaces sound like a joke

- Everything wrapped up in a neat bow makes me gag. It’s offensive to both sides. 

- I really don’t like MG

- No shirtless Oliver :(

Quick Thoughts

- I liked this episode 

- John and Quentin are back as part of the team - hugs, kisses, warm thoughts

- Oliver Queen’s hotness continues BIG TIME

- Felicity goes Bratva and damn she’s creepy

- Oliver’s worried about Felicity!!

- Felicity is jealous of Dinah - what happens in Russia - girl is hurt and pissed

- John understandably wants to cause pain

- I miss Rory. Can he come back and replace ALL of NTA?

- Poor Felicity having to deal with a nuclear weapon AGAIN - that’s just cruel - thank you MG I’m sure

- John Diggle is a good man

- Felicity hugging Oliver is TOO WONDERFUL

- Rory stopping the nuke!

- The team shooting vodka :)

-You, me, Felicity - we make each other better - Diggle

- Anatoly reminds Oliver that the Bratva oath is for life

- I will never understand Oliver sleeping with Susan - he didn’t even seem attracted to her. I don’t know how he trusts her at all. Susan pushing about the island is just an added layer of ick. And she sees the Bratva tattoo as he’s shirtless. 

- Rene helping Quentin did nothing to endear him

-  Rory leaves :(

- Susan investigating Oliver Queen shows that she is a horrible girlfriend, how come Oliver NEVER sees this....it’s like they just expected us to forget her evilness and leave it unexplained. GRRRR.

Quick Thoughts

OMG OMG OMG OMG THE HAIR!!!!!!!!!! Prime Oliver hair in this episode - STEPHEN AMELL THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD ASPIRE TO!

- Felicity’s outfit is KILLER

- LOVE Felicity happy about hacking and how she “thinks” Oliver can pardon her

- Why oh why do we need another Black Canary?? There are way too many people now. I guess this is why I never cared about Dinah until I started disliking her - the character is unnecessary.

- Oliver looks hot throughout this WHOLE EPISODE - I would be remiss NOT to comment

- We meet Talia with hot Russian Oliver - even with his face all beaten up - he’s just that good

- Ghost Fox Goddess in the house!!

-  I love Alena fangirling over Felicity 

- Helix sounds super evil

- Maskless - SO HOT!

- Oliver flying around holding onto a helicopter then shooting an arrow and blowing it up - both unbelievable AND cool

-  Did I mention Oliver looks EXTRA HOT in this episode?!

- Why does Oliver think the doesn’t get a second chance?

- A precious Olicity moment! Where Felicity lies and Oliver does not push.

- Felicity is falling down the rabbit hole and I’m so excited!!!

- John is free - He and Adrian are looking mighty fine too!

- We even get Mayor hotness - it’s the episode that keeps on giving. I’m seriously thinking you could watch this episode on mute and it would be just as effective!

- So Dinah joins the team - big whoop. It’s a bit much that her name is Dinah. 

- So much hotness - there really should have been a shirtless scene

Quick Thoughts

- The return of Laurel Lance

- Love how Felicity just happens to come by - glad they explain why later re John being in prison. 

- Felicity doesn’t trust this new Laurel but Oliver 2.0 trying to be happy and trusting does

- Oliver TOUCHED Felicity when he checks to see if she’s okay after the Black Siren attack - SQUEE!!!!!!! SEE:

- Black Siren again taking orders from someone with NO POWERS - just like Laurel this woman has no self-confidence

- So we switch from Prometheus talking to BS to Oliver talking to Adrian - how does that work exactly?

- Nice that BS destroyed that awful statue

- Love Felicity giving the team orders and having them followed

- I hurt for Curtis

- Felicity using the punching bag, she’s so sad for so MANY REASONS - Oliver wants to understand Fake Laurel - even only he’d give Felicity the same our poor girl is heartbroken - Havenrock,Billy - so much pain and she has no one

- Felicity not taking any of BS’s crap is AWESOME

- I never realized how upset Felicity was throughout this episode before - it is right after Billy’s death but that girl is on the edge of tears ALL THE TIME - how does Oliver not notice??

- Yet, he’s all freaked she let BS because she might have been hurt - she is in agony right in front of you!

- Surprised Felicity let her conversation be taped.

- Oliver totally looks at her lips!

- So much Olicity in this episode but I might need to do a rewrite where Oliver actually acknowledges Felicity’s pain

- Poor Bratva Oliver getting beaten up :(

- Adrian standing up for John makes me happy

- Felicity saying son of a bitch - love it. Oliver telling Felicity to get on board with plan - would have been annoying if he didn’t say it so sweetly

- BS throwing Rene into a wall made me happy

- Felicity in the field!

- Felicity or Me - As if Prometheus...

- Oliver covering Felicity’s ears instead of his own - THIS IS LOVE

- Felicity calling BS pumpkin just before the punch and then looks back at Oliver for approval - I’m dead

- Rene loves to say I told you so - shocker

- Oliver is proud of Felicity’s punch

- Love Olicity standing with their umbrellas!

- There are way too many people on Team Arrow now - no need for another black canary
