I can tell you're a lot like him. I can only hope.
8x03 Sibling Parallels
The sibling parallels were strong this week! We have Connor and JJ mirroring Dig and Andy, with the demonstrably ‘evil’ brother still being believed in, right up until he gets a friend killed (Zoe/Laurel), then the ‘good’ brother flips, with lethal force. Dig killed Andy, in vengeance and to protect his family, and it broke him, forever changing him, and affecting his story arc right up until S7. Will Connor end up doing the same to avenge Zoe and keep his family and home safe? I feel like some sage John Diggle advice is coming his way, very, very soon.
Then we have Oliver/Thea and William/Mia (ooh it rhymes!). Both half-brother-sister duos had their parents making questionable decisions (ok, Moira and Robert definitely win here for most questionable choices by a mile, but let’s just go with it for the sake of this parallel) on their behalf that the children later came to resent, but which they eventually come to realise were made out of love and to protect them. These decisions in turn led to both sets of siblings becoming heroes, as acknowledged by Thea in her chat with Oliver. Oliver/Mia wanting to keep Thea/William away from danger, not because they don’t trust in their abilities, but because they need them safe is such an Oliver Queen evergreen MOOD 😂. In Mia’s case, William is the only family she has left in her life (just you wait though kids…)
Anyway, just some late-night musings whilst writing about 8x03 haha.

Why is everyone losing there shit over lena using ai on eve..Guys oliver queen used to be a serial killer in season 1😂😂??Also I dont thinks lena is angry at the fact that kara lied about being supergirl but the things she did as supergirl..After season 3 Lena dont have any reason trust kara..Also it wont be wrong for lena to think that kara, alex and the others where using her from day one...Also saving someone doesn't warrant anything..
Sorry, I'm laughing a little at the thought of "Oliver Queen did it, so it's okay!" being at all reassuring. Oliver Queen is one of the two biggest reasons I couldn't connect with Arrow as a show, despite multiple attempts to watch, and his prominence in the crossover events hasn't made me like him any better.I'm not exactly sure what the rest of this ask is going for (whos saving who?, trusting kara after s3? Did you mean s4?), but yeah. I'd prefer if Supergirl stayed very far away from literally any Arrow parallels.
