Sara knocked loudly on the door, leaning against the wall and grimacing in pain. She didn't know whether she hoped Felicity would or wouldn't answer the door for her; she knew how late it was, and she had half a mind to turn and run, to hide out in the Foundry all night and deal with it herself. She didn't though, because the part of her that hoped Felicity would answer won out, and she desperately wanted the sense of warmth and calm that being around Felicity gave her, even though she'd always swear up and down that she didn't deserve it.

Grumbling coming from the other side of the door snapped Sara out of her thoughts, and she looked sheepish as Felicity Smoak opened her door.

"Hey…" she said, her voice hoarse and cracking from lack of use as she brought a hand up in a weak wave.
