AU where Oliver stays in the Bratva and doesnât get found at the end of his fifth year and instead stays behind and helps Anatoli establish himself. After a year has passed, Anatoli has properly solidified himself in his role and Oliver has become a respected high ranking member â a Russian in spirit, they say â they suddenly get news of an earthquake leveling the glades.
Because he hasnât been snooping or pushing Moria to do better, Malcom gets away with it and Tommy lives, because he hadnât been meddling. So, the season 1 cast is all there, just a year later and in a city filled with devastation.
Anatoli can see that Oliver is worried about his family, no matter how much he left them behind, so he offers Oliver to become the head of the Bratva in Starling. They want to use the chaos anyway and he trusts him, so itâs not a hardship to send him there.
So, Oliver finds himself in Starling under a new identity. He does his Bratva stuff, and theyâre deep in the drug trade. He runs into Thea.
He runs into his baby sister buying drugs from the Russian mob with her friend â thankfully she lets the friend get her hands dirty while she waits in the car but she is still there â and they both see each other.
Oliver pretends not to recognize her then and Thea isnât sure, but she becomes a little obsessed. She finds him and keeps trying to worm her way close to him and Oliver doesnât want her to get hurt, so he keeps letting her, but he also keeps pretending like he doesnât know her and has no clue who this brother is she talks about. He puts on a thick Russian accent and steals bits from Anatoliâs life to sell to her.
Itâs this bittersweet thing, where he is so close to her, but he canât confirm, has to keep her at a distance, but itâs so hard. Thea feels much the same, feeling she has her brother back, but heâs not him and she canât tell anyone, because theyâll tell her to stop and get away from this criminal, but she canât, because heâs giving her a piece of family back that she misses so desperately.
Meanwhile, Thea also gets a reputation as a Princess of Starlingâs underworld and close to a Bratva Captain. This puts her in the crosshair of not only dangerous enemies the Bratva have made â Oliver especially â but Quentin too, who has been put on the Bratva case.
In order to keep her safe, he goes undercover as Kapusion to check up on her, taking out threats and such. By doing that, he also notices his mom acting stranger and stranger, which drags him into solving the reason for earthquake.

April has faced numerous challenges and traumas shaped by the tumultuous events surrounding her family's past and their involvement in dangerous conflicts. The custody battle between Oliver and Malcolm placed her in the center of a power struggle, along with issues within the League of Assassins, forcing her to confront her own fears and vulnerabilities.
The death of her father, Tommy Merlyn, in a tragic accident deeply impacted April, leaving her grappling with grief and loss. The traumatic events surrounding her aunt, Thea Queen, further tested April's resilience and fortitude, exposing her to violence and danger that threatened her sense of security and stability.
Despite these challenges, April has demonstrated remarkable strength and resilience, navigating the complexities of her family's legacy and finding her own path amidst the chaos and turmoil. Her journey towards self-discovery and healing promises to be a compelling narrative of growth and redemption.
One evening, during a lavish party at the Queen mansion, chaos erupted as intruders infiltrated the premises, sending guests fleeing for safety. Amidst the confusion, April found herself separated from her family, lost in the crowd as panic spread throughout the house.
As she sought refuge on an upper floor, April stumbled upon a masked figure clad in green, engaged in a fierce battle with the intruders across the hall. Fear gripped her as she instinctively reached for the nearest objects, hurling them towards the intruder in a desperate attempt to defend herself.
To her surprise, the masked figure approached her with caution, his voice gentle and reassuring as he spoke. April's initial fear gave way to curiosity as the figure revealed himself to be none other than her uncle, Oliver Queen, known to the world as the vigilante Green Arrow.
In disbelief, April questioned Oliver's motives and identity, uncertain of whether to trust him. However, Oliver's gentle demeanor and familiarity with her family's history convinced her of his sincerity.
With a mixture of shock and awe, April watched as Oliver removed his hood, revealing his face beneath the mask. In that moment, the pieces of the puzzle fell into place, and April realized the truth about her uncle's secret identity.
Overwhelmed by the revelation, April struggled to comprehend the implications of Oliver's double life as both her beloved uncle and the masked vigilante who fought to protect their city. However, as Oliver extended his hand in reassurance, April made a silent promise to keep his secret, knowing that their bond as family was stronger than any mask or disguise.
With a newfound sense of understanding and connection, April emerged from the encounter with a deeper appreciation for her uncle's heroism and the sacrifices he made to keep their family safe. As she reunited with her loved ones, April carried with her the weight of Oliver's secret, a silent guardian of the truth amidst the chaos of their tumultuous lives.
April possesses a natural talent for archery, honing her skills with dedication and passion. She first discovered her love for the sport under the guidance of her uncle Oliver, who recognized her potential and encouraged her to pursue marksmanship as a means of self-defense.
Though April also knows how to handle firearms, her favorite weapon of choice is a crossbow. She finds comfort and familiarity in the weapon's design and mechanics, favoring its precision and versatility in combat situations.
Whether at home or at the Arrow Cave, April can often be found practicing her marksmanship with her crossbow, fine-tuning her aim and mastering her technique. She approaches each shot with determination and focus, channeling her passion and conviction into every arrow she looses.
As she grows in skill and confidence, April embraces her aunt Thea's words of wisdom, remembering what she's fighting for with every shot she takes.Â
The quote, "If you remember what you're fighting for, you'll never miss your target.â, becomes a mantra for April, guiding her in both her marksmanship and her life's journey as a guardian of justice and defender of her family.
With her unwavering determination and her trusty crossbow in hand, April stands ready to face whatever challenges may come her way, knowing that as long as she keeps her eyes on her target and her heart set on her purpose, she will never miss the mark.

Felicity woke with a groan, clumps of yesterdayâs makeup in the corners of her eyes. She checked her phone and was relieved that it was 10:39 am on a Saturday and she had nowhere she needed to be. Rolling out of bed, she began to strip off yesterdayâs clothes and dump them in her hamper. She had been so exhausted from maintaining her facade and the emotional turmoil yesterday, that she had face-planted onto her bed fully dressed.Â
Felicity put on her favorite pair of cozy pajamas. Her Mom had given them to her for Hanukkah two years ago and they had cute little laptops printed all over them. It was like getting a hug from her Mom without having to tell her the details of why she needed one. All of the upside and none of the tiresome downside.
She used the bathroom and washed her hands and face, carefully wiping away her makeup. Then, for good measure, she brushed and flossed her teeth and plucked her eyebrows. Anything to stay busy and not look at the chasm where her heart used to be.
Her stomach growled. After a look in her woefully under-stocked fridge, she decided to order in. There was a great Mom & Pop place a few blocks away that did a killer omelet and home fries. Even better, they delivered.
45 minutes later, Felicity was tucking in to her meal. She peered at the home fries, trying once again to determine how they had cooked them. She had tried to recreate them many times and failed. The last two times Tommy had tried to help her, tasting and seasoning the home fries side by side. They had never quite pinned it down.
Her appetite vanished.Â
She took a big gulp of tea to wash down her current mouthful and put the leftovers into the fridge.
Felicityâs vision blurred, tears falling down her cheeks. Stubbornly, relentlessly, and completely against her will.
Her chest ached.
Fuck Tommy and his charm and smile; fuck his body and his skills in the bedroom; fuck him for making her ever think he cared about her.
And he had made her believe he cared for her. She had almost imagined he loved her.
How did someone go from making love to making an escape in a matter of an hour or two? How did that work?
And why couldnât her heart do it too?
God, it hurt so much.
She laughed without mirth, realizing he had got her two days off which she was now using to get over him.
Fine, then. She would cry and mope and watch dumb movies. Two days. Then she would put on her big girl pants and go to work like the badass she was.
But first, moping.
~~~
Tommy unlocked the side door of Verdant and flipped on some lights.Â
He had slept late and puttered around his apartment a bit this morning, not being able to settle on one task or another. All he really wanted to do was see Felicity. He had grown accustomed to her presence. But knowing she had work to do with Oliver, he had decided to face the work waiting for him at the club.Â
After making a pot of coffee, he settled in at his desk and sorted through a deep pile of paperwork and requisition orders.
It felt good to get something done. His brain was overloaded with Theaâs bombshell. In some ways it felt inevitable that Malcolm had screwed around in the worst way possible. He was surprised that Moira. of all people, was the one to fall for it.
He felt fiercely protective about Thea - especially now that he knew she was his sister. Her safety was a big concern under the circumstances.Â
The public were still understandably angry about the destruction of the Glades. Tommy had to have his mail professionally screened for dangerous substances. He was the focus for a lot of anger because of Malcolm. He worried that the same would happen to Thea when the news broke during Moiraâs trial.
It would take some strategizing with Oliver, but they would make sure Thea was as insulated and protected as possible. She wasnât alone, they would take care of her.
The emotional fallout was more difficult to manage. He hated Malcolm for putting Thea through this. She had already suffered through the loss of her father and brother. It was a miracle that theyâd got Oliver back, but losing him for five years had still left its mark on them all.
Oliver was his brother in everything but name. It had been like losing a piece of his own soul when the boat went down, and yet it was merely a shadow of what Thea and Moira had experienced.
It had taken a year, filled with mistakes and angry conversations, for Tommy to come to terms with this new version of Oliver. He had been transformed by his experiences and trials, he was not the same âOllieâ who stepped onto the boat all those years ago.
While Tommy still wrestled with Oliverâs actions as The Arrow, he had at least learned to accept them to some degree. Especially after what Malcolm had done.Â
Tommy realized that he was brooding again and hadnât got any work done in half an hour or so. Standing, he stretched and rolled his head from side to side.
Grabbing his coffee mug, he walked downstairs in search of coffee and a snack and walked straight into Oliver.
âWoah! Hey, man,â said Tommy. âI didnât think youâd be here today.â
âHey, Tommy. Yeah itâs a quiet day so Iâm just checking my equipment,â Oliver replied.
Tommy frowned, âI thought Felicity said you guys had to catch up on QC work?â
Oliverâs eyebrows pinched together in a thoughtful frown. âNot especially. I mean, thereâs always something to do, but nothing that couldnât wait until Monday.â
Tommy felt the bottom fall out of his stomach, leaving a vast, uncomfortable emptiness. Felicity had lied to him about needing to work this weekend. Was she avoiding him?
He gave Oliver a short nod of acknowledgment. âI was going to make a sandwich in the kitchen. Do you want anything?â
âYeah, a sandwich sounds great actually,â said Oliver, following Tommy into the back rooms of the club.
Tommy began pulling out deli meat and the rest of the sandwich ingredients from the industrial sized fridge.
âHowâs Thea holding up?â Tommy asked.
Oliver grabbed a couple of plates, placing them in front of Tommy, âSheâs struggling, not that sheâd admit it.â
âYeah, thatâs a family trait,â Tommy said with a small smile.
Oliverâs lips quirked as he nodded in agreement, washing a tomato and a couple of leaves of lettuce.
Spreading some mustard on the bread, Tommy watched as Oliver expertly wielded a chefâs knife to slice the tomato. âThatâs a new skill,â he commented mildly.
âI have been known to pick them up from time to time,â Oliver said, raising an eyebrow. âThis is one of the more useful skills.â
âYeah, more useful than knowing five ways to break a kneecap,â said Tommy with a full-on smirk on his face and glint in his eye.
âEight, actually,â Oliver said with deadly softness.
Tommyâs hands automatically stilled and he raised his eyes to Oliverâs face. He was relieved to find Oliver smirking back at him.
âJerk,â said Tommy, with an easy smile as his posture relaxed.
âAsshole,â retorted Oliver, coming to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Tommy as they finished assembling the sandwiches.
They carried their coffee and sandwiches out to the bar and perched on barstools while they tucked in. The club always felt like an entirely different building in the daytime with all the house lights up. The air itself moved differently, more sluggish and stale. But though Tommy vastly preferred it when it was thrumming with life, even he could appreciate the strange peace that surrounded them now. A slumbering beast waiting for its time, waiting to awake.
He wondered if that was how Oliver felt while he waited for his next mission, for his next adversary to appear.Â
âI keep thinking about the jewel thieves and the train,â said Tommy, suddenly. âI feel like I have a better appreciation for what you do - you, Felicity and John.Â
âHmmm?â said Oliver around a bite of sandwich.
Tommy wiped his fingers on his napkin, trying to order his thoughts to explain what he meant. âYeahâ the stakes that are involved, knowing when to push and when to back off, chasing down the leads and hunches. Itâs more complex than I imagined.â
Oliver nodded, âThose thieves were definitely a more complicated case than we often deal with. A lot of what we do is punch first, ask questions later.â
âDonât sell yourself short,â said Tommy quickly. âYou do far more than that, you all do.â He took a drink of coffee before looking back to Oliver. âYou are the thing standing between evil and the innocent people in this city. I didnât understand it before, didnât know the hard choices necessary to keep people safe. Iâm sorry I was so hard on you.â
Oliver swallowed hard, his eyes bright. âThanks, Tommy. Thatâs⊠that means a lot.â
There was a comfortable silence between them while they finished their food and took their plates back to the kitchen.
âHow are things going with Felicity?â Oliver said, placing the plates in the dishwasher.
Tension seeped into Tommyâs shoulders. âWhat do you mean?â
Oliver raised one eyebrow, âJust that. How did you leave things with her when you came home? Are you two officially together?â
Tommy crossed his arms, his teeth worrying at his lower lip. âWe didnât talk about it. I was worried about Thea. Did she say something?â
âI havenât spoken to her,â Oliver said, a crease between his eyebrows. âDid you tell her about Thea?â
âNo,â admitted Tommy. âIt didnât feel like my secret to tell.â
Oliver nodded. âI trust her. I want her input on how to keep Thea safe going forward. Iâll talk to her when I see her.â
Tommy had the brief sensation like he had forgotten something, but then it was gone just as quickly when he and Oliver began to plan for Theaâs safety during the trial and beyond.
~~~
Felicity strode down the street quickly, a suit carrier of dresses draped over one arm. There was a 24/7 dry cleaners they used regularly, but it was unusual for her to walk all the way there.Â
She had found herself sitting on the couch, staring into space while she tried to pinpoint when she had got it all so damn wrong. Then when sheâd had the sensation of the walls closing in on her she decided enough was enough. After changing into well-worn jeans and a favorite sweatshirt, she had grasped upon the nearest excuse to get out of her apartment and out of her own head.
Yesterdayâs rain had mostly dried up and been replaced by a blustery wind. Felicity felt it tug on her ponytail and catch on the bulk of the suit carrier. She noted every passerby with a healthy suspicion, despite it being mid-afternoon. Although her work was from behind a computer screen, she wasnât foolish enough to think there was anything like total anonymity in this world. After all, how many times had she broken through someoneâs firewalls to find out their deepest secrets for Oliver? She was damn good at what she did, but there would always be someone better. Always.
After dropping off the dresses, Felicity found herself wandering to her favorite Jewish deli. They made a matzo ball soup that was to die for, and she was very much in need of some comfort food.
With her soup container swinging gently in a plastic bag from one hand, and a fresh hot coffee cradled in the other, Felicity pondered where to go next. She would love to hide out in the lair and lose herself in some coding, but the chances of bumping into Tommy were just too high. She couldnât face him yet. She needed another day to shore up her defenses.
Reluctantly, she walked home, but not before stopping by a local bodega for a cheap bottle of red wine.
Her phone rang as she walked through her door. Placing her purchases on the kitchen counter, she glanced at the screen - it was Tommy calling. Cursing herself for being a coward, she nevertheless let it go to voicemail and busied herself serving up some of the soup.
Savoring the first spoonful, she played the message he had left, dread thumping through her.
âUh⊠hi itâs Tommy. Just wanted to see if we could get together sometime soon. I know youâre probably busy, but⊠we should talk. Um⊠anyway, yeah. Give me a call?â
Her heart sank.
He wanted to talk. Felicity had a good idea what he wanted to talk about. He wanted to tell her that they couldnât be together because he was back with Laurel.
Pushing the matzo balls around her bowl, she tried to think of a response. She couldnât call because he would probably pick up. She decided to send a text.
Sorry I canât talk right now. Busy with research. Maybe we can get together next week if things calm down? âF
That would stall him long enough until she regained her equilibrium. She just needed a little time to file Tommy under âUnfortunate Mistakesâ in her mind and rip the tendrils of feeling she had for him out of her heart.
It seemed like an almost impossible task. But she had done it before and she could do it again. She sighed and began to pack away the remaining soup in the fridge.Â
Pouring a large glass of wine and grabbing the blanket off the back of the couch, she curled up in her favorite corner of the couch and flipped through different movies on various streaming services until she landed on an adaptation of Sense & Sensibility.Â
For a couple of hours she lost herself in the story. In the language and manners, the love and loss and betrayal. In the mending of hearts and clearing up of misunderstandings.
She sobbed along with Elinore at the end. Her heart was breaking. Would she ever find her own happy ending? Was that even a possibility with how she spent her nights? When would she ever find the time?
It all felt so impossible. Felicity blew her nose and soaked up the tears. She flopped down, resting her head on the arm of the couch. Staring unseeing at the ending credits, she let her thoughts chase each other through her head until she drifted off to sleep.
~~~
Tommy stared again at the text. It definitely felt like a brush off. There had been plenty of nights when he had brought food down to the basement and kept his friends company while they chased down the latest bad guy.Â
He picked at his lo mein, thinking back over the last few days. He had thought they were getting closer, thought they were together. They hadnât labeled it specifically but it had felt a lot like⊠well, like love.
Downing the last of his beer, Tommy rubbed his chest against the ache that had appeared there.Â
The way she had looked at him on their last day in the park had made him thinkâ
No. He had to be mistaken. And he couldnât put himself out like that again. Not after what had happened with Laurel. He wouldnât risk his heart that way.Â
She didnât want him. And how could he blame her? Anyone associated with the Merlyn name was damned.Â
Felicity was tough and the farthest thing from naive, but that didnât mean she should be dragged down by him.Â
He laughed darkly, his father was still managing to fuck up his life from the grave.Â
Popping the cap off another beer, he took a long swig. Tommy looked at the text one more time before closing the app with a resigned sigh.
It had been too good to be true. At least he had some great memories of their time together to keep him company. He peeled the label off his beer bottle while he replayed some of his favorite moments in his head.Â
God, he loved her.
No.Â
It didnât matter.
He didnât matter.
She deserved better than him. She deserved everything good in this world. He would let her go and bury his feelings.Â
He just really hoped they would still have a friendship left after all this. He didnât have so many friends that he could afford to drive any of them away.Â
Ok, I saw a little hint of a Scream AU where I think Sam was Supergirl and they used Tara to control Sam since she was Kryptonian and stronger. I see you, and now I raise you one.
Arrow AU.
Rich and worrying about nothing in life, 18-year-old Samantha Carpenter boarded her father's, Mr. Carpenter's, yacht/boat. The storm happens and it goes down, and Sam has to endure the hell that is the island for five years.
Now, Sam is trying desperately to get back home. She saw the boat sink while swimming to the life raft with her father already inside, and then Mr. Carpenter ending his own life because he was too injured in the boat sinking. He wanted Sam to survive.
Sam wants her sister.
Meanwhile, Tara is having the absolute worst time of her life. Her older sister got on a boat even after Tara had a bad feeling about the random trip made spontaneously, but she still got on.
Christina is struck with grief and begins to drink herself into a bottle. Tara gets into Vertigo/other drugs to help cope with Sam's "death."
5 years go by and Sam is revealed to not only have survived the boat sinking, but she doesn't appear too fazed by it. People are wary of her because of her indifference to her own father's death, but she looks distraught every time someone mentions it.
(She doesn't want to tell anyone that dad knew. He knew Sam wasn't his from a book with a list of names inside. It was right in the front cover.)
Tara doesn't know how to talk to Sam without being snippy about it. It doesn't matter that Sam didn't want the boat to sink, Tara still doesn't know how to process Sam being gone for five years and then reappearing. Everything about her is more frosty.
And at night, if a woman dressed in dark green fabric is seen around the city, people are too terrified to comment. Especially when some of the biggest names in the industry are taken down for drug rings and other heinous things.
Sam crosses out names left and right. This city has been failed by just about everyone with economic/political status, including Sam herself. And they all need to give up their life to make the city better. Sam has already been through Hell and has been reborn.
However, as Sam kills these businessmen and women, she's thinking of Tara. Tara, who could potentially be hurt from toxic chemicals released into the air and water. (Another name crossed off.) Tara, who Sam sees getting into trouble with Vertigo, a new experimental drug. (A name, not on the list, but still crossed off.) Tara, who grew up all alone at 13 with only their mother who turned into an alcoholic. (Well, Sam yelled at her about her real father. No names crossed off technically, but Sam pays their mom a visit that night and gets shot. Wes, Tara's nerdy friend from school, helped her as well as her body guard Dewey [idk just go with it, I'm working it out lol], and she has a small team.)
A new archer showed up. He has similar and a lot of unfamiliar fighting techniques. He's dressed in all black, and a white mask of spray paint resembling a ghost is on his face. He's so similarly dressed to Sam, and that scares her.
Instead of returning to Earth 2, Laurel decides to hide from her enemies and allies alike on the opposite side of the country. The reason? Her daughter, Donna. But now, decades later, William Clayton comes looking for answers and her daughter just can't help herself.
Well, Like Father Like Daughter, unfortunately.
Its Future B-Plot/Mia but make it GreenSiren.
I decided to have it set(ish) in California and added comic/cartoon details. If you don't know, Black Siren (the hero name) was first used in a DC cartoon and her name was Donna Nance.
