When I woke up this particular morning, I found myself craving pizza. Being in Paris, I wasnt sure how that would work out. Thank goodness for the internet, as I googled best pizza in Patis and was shown a few possible options. As I was going to be near Luxembourg Gardens in the morning, I chose Arrivaderci, which looked to be a very reasonable walk from there. It turned out to be about a 15 minute walk, which was just what I had hoped. What I had not expected was the combination of how busy this restaurant was as well as how small it was. It was after 1pm so lunch time was waning. I put my name on the list and only had to wait an extra 10 minutes. Seating was very tight, like a classic bistro. I felt like I was a part of the two tables on either side of me. As I was alone amd not taking part I'm any conversation, I was totally fine with the close quarters. This is definitely something to take into account if you consider eating at Arrivaderci as well as how busy it gets. Plan to wait at least a short while, particularly at peak hours. The menu was pretty straightforward and simple, which I was happy about. I chose the diavolo pizza, which was sauce, cheese and spicy salami!! It had a nice amount of spice but I still added some extra chili oil for a little more spice. The size was perfect for one very hungry person, which I was this day, or for 2 not so hungry people. Maybe if you are sharing, you might want some kind of a starter as well. The pizza itself was excellent, with a crisp but slightly chewy crust and generously topped. I gobbled it up with a couple of beers, nothing special, as the beer list was also fairly simple. I wasnt expecting a diverse or multitudinous beer list so I was fine with what they offered. It was more about the pizza, which was classic Italian style and delicious!! Finding myself craving pizza in Paris, I wasn't sure how this would work out. Thankfully, Arrivaderci turned out to be an excellent Italian pizza parlor which I would highly recommend and absolutely return to again. In addition, it is near tourist destinations so it is easy to reach. Prices were very reasonable, so definitely a very good value for price!! If you find yourself in Paris, looking for pizza, Arrivaderci is a great choice, well worth a stop for this classic italian version! Have a great day!!
