Lloyd Frontera

Pikachu surprised face. You were part of Frontera's knights and were always there to help, but he didn't think you were this strong. The wolf monsters were ganging up on Javier and giving even him a hard time. When you swooped into Lloyd's blind spot and easily decapitated one of them, joining Javier right after, all he could do was stare, mouth agape.

Will sincerely thank you afterwards and sing you praises (not literally, not even you could handle that) whilst teasing Javier that you could end up surpassing him.

In the next missions, he completely trusts you to cover his back. Still worries though.

"Lloyd?" "Hm?" "I'm fine, see? We should keep going." "...No. Go rest, we'll set up camp tonight." "But-" "Tired employees can't do their work properly, now can they?" He flashed his shady-business grin, but you knew better than to believe him. With a sigh, you relented and pressed a kiss to his dumb smile. "Fine, fine. Whatever you say, bossman."

Javier Asrahan

His eyes are wide with a mix of surprise and adoration. Javier knew you were strong and often sparred with you as training, but seeing you in action was another matter entirely. The way you carved your way through the horde to stand back-to-back with him, just as he was getting overwhelmed, completely reinvigorated him.

When the battle's over, his smile almost blinds you. He can't believe he's got such an amazing partner and tells you as much. Seeing you like that makes him want to improve even more in order to keep fighting by your side.

"Y/n, thank you for your help. You were incredible." "Thanks, Javier! You did great too." your hands fit together like two puzzle pieces, and so did your lips. "I'm glad you were here." he whispered, cheeks lightly dusted pink. He was still getting used to this. "I am too." you replied, brushing a few of his blue strands out of his face.

Together, you walk back to where everyone else is, relieved to have each other to rely on.

After that he's training for a little longer every day and trading advice with you more often. His eyes light up at every breakthrough, be it his or yours. If it's yours, he's full-on applauding you with the proudest of smiles.

Alicia Magentano

God, she loves you - is the first thing that comes to mind when you absolutely demolish the monster that was about to sneak-attack her. You may or may not have also had to block another incoming blow because Alicia stared at you for a little too long. She gets back into the fray right after though, a blush creeping up her neck.

After the battle's over, she's all praises, especially about specific details of your fighting style no one else would be able to notice. Alicia's also extremely quick to get you treatment and a warm bath, even if your injuries were only minor.

"Your hard work paid off, I could see how much better you coordinated striking and dodging." she proudly smiled. "Thank you! I had an amazing sparring partner." you winked. She laughed sweetly, and wrapped an arm around your waist. "Oh, I'm sure. But the improvements are still on you, aren't they?" You made a show of thinking about it. "Hm...maybe."

You both made your way back to the castle, more than eager to rest.

After that she's training a little extra in secret. She's happy to have someone reliable by her side, but she can't let you do everything, now can she. (Also, she wants to be the one to save you next time, but you didn't hear that from me.)

Arosh

This guy fell for you, head over heels, all over again. How could he not? You dispatched all of the giant ants that were attacking the orcs, much more powerfully and beautifully than he ever imagined. He's really ashamed he didn't join you, mesmerized and awestruck as he was.

When it's over, he snaps out of it and rushes to your side. He's fretting over you, checking for any injuries and clearly moping about not having helped.

"Y/n! Are you alright, oink?!" Arosh ran towards you, stepping over the bugs. He took your hand in his and gave you a full once-over, rambling something about 'not having been there'. "Arosh! I'm all good, see?" you tilted his chin to face you directly. "Just a little dirty. It's nothing a good bath won't fix." you smiled reassuringly. He relaxed, but still had a small, guilty pout. "I should have-" he froze when you kissed the tip of his nose. "No beating yourself up! I love you, fight or no fight. C'mon, let's go home."

Arosh x Reader: Dating Headcanons

You two first meet when the Sand and Steel Tribe arrives at Frontera County, guided by Lloyd. Arosh just so happens to be working near the fields you help cultivate, so you end up seeing him around often.

For Arosh, it was love at first sight, but he was too nervous to actually approach you, at first. Instead, when he knew you were around, he worked harder, flexing his muscles, hoping to impress you.

The other orcs tease him a lot about it, but in the end they cheer him on, especially Kougar (with whom Arosh ends up bonding with over their crushes on humans).

Even after you start dating, Arosh is still easily flustered. He very much enjoys PDA, but he absolutely will blush and stutter every single time you initiate.

His main love language is acts of service - especially the ones that involve strength. He loves helping you carry things, helping you around the farm, and - later on in you relationship - carrying you home if you're tired. No matter your size, he will insist.

He's kind of dense, though, so you have to be very clear when discussing boundaries, asking favors or complimenting him so it doesn't fly over his head.
