i try to go through the main tag and 70% of it is asexual stuff.

i try to find good blogs, but most of them are aro/ace, which inevitably ends up being mostly ace content.

i try to search a term that aros coined, only to find 80% of the posts are people mocking our vocabulary.

anything to do with aspec is really just acespec and half of the qpp stuff is alloromos who have No Fucking Clue what they are talking about.

I love being aromantic, and I’m so glad i found the small community i have here, but it’s hard being proud when it’s so tiring.

Society’s relationship with romance is so ugly, the way it shapes everything, to the point where most people can’t even consider what society would look like without it. It makes us feel broken, and when we finally make a community, we get erased and mocked by even other LGBT+ people (yes - even asexuals)
