arofriend: a term for a relationship in which aromanticism is involved. arofriend is largely open to the user's interpretation, and is not inherently attached to any particular sort of relationship, be it partnered, non-partnered, romantic, platonic, queerplatonic, unlabled, etc. potential meanings may include:
an intersection, intertwining, or connection of a relationship to aromanticism
an aro term akin to boyfriend/girlfriend/joyfriend
a friendship involving or between aros
simply a term of affection / endearment
can also be used to refer to oneself! (like ‘local arofriend’ for example)
otherwise feeling the word arofriend describes one's relationship
