honestly there isnt enough discussion in the community about the unique experiences of alloaro men dealing with aromisia and how they are inherently seen as predatory even though they are not. they are just existing. i cannot imagine the pain they go through if they are also aplatonic. we need to acknowledge there is an inherent other layer not only to recognizing and identifying that label in todays society but also in the way they experience their life and how they are perceived and how they are treated as a whole.
we need to acknowledge how harmful it can be when we have discussions of men who are not in romantic relationships and how we act or feel towards them. any personal discomfort should not override the real experiences of queer people, or the things they have to face in their everyday life.
i just that’s important to recognize and acknowledge is all.
