Hello ARMY!! I know we always do our best to give back to our community just like BTS have. Which is why I would like to present this donation project towards helping scientist Mariano Barcacid in moving forward in his research to curing pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic Cancer is one of the deadliest cancer diagnosis. The cancer is normally found late, spreads quickly, and extremely difficult to treat. Pancreatic cancer has a very low survival rate with about 13% five-year relative survival rate overral. That means roughly 13 out of 100 people live at least five years after diagnosis. Any amount will help in furthering Mariano Barcacidโs research in finding a cure. If you are unable to make a donation, please pass along this message to family and friends! Hi, ARMY! Weโre glad to announce our first ever ARMY Supportive Santa project. This porject is just like every other Secret Santa project that you'll find around christmas time, however, ours has a little change that makes it a bit more special and personal. Here, you'll be able to express your worries and receive encouraging words from your Secret Santa. Nice, isn't it?
We also know how hard this year was for all of us, with covid and everything, but you still managed to survive the year and weโre so proud of you.
We hope many ARMYs join in and participate in our little project! If you're interested, please keep reading and find out how this project will be taking place.
โข Whatโs ARMY Supportive Santa?
ARMY Supportive Santa consists on assigning one person to their (secret) Supportive Santa who, after getting to know them a little bit, will do whatever they want (be it a picture, a drawing, a video, or simply a post) to share them a motivational quote or just some supportive words to let them know theyโre not alone!
The main purpose of this project is to know that weโre not alone and that we matter. Even if the one receiving the advice and the one sending them are total strangers, sometimes we just need someone to make us feel loved.
โข Instructions
First of all, you have to know that no one else, besides your secret santa and us (atiny support team) will know the information you sent us!
1. Fill out this Google form.
There youโll be asked:
Your Name (yes, it can be a nickname)
Your Tumblr URL
Your pronouns๐
Your bias/es.
Favorite color.
Something youโve been struggling with and youโd like to receive some advice and/or encouraging words.
Again, none of this information will be given to anyone else other than your SSS (Secret Supportive Santa)
Deadline to send your forms: November 25
2. After everyone sends their forms, we will be assigning people to their SSS.
Youโll receive a DM from this blog with your assigned ARMYโs information. We kindly ask to not share it since this is supposed to create a safe place for everyone, not the opposite, so be careful.
