Thank you to all of the people who serve, including their families! #Repost @schulzmuseum • • • • • 🛩️ Today marks the 70th celebration of #ArmedForcesDay in the US since it's creation by President Truman in 1949.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ 🌍 In the fall of 1942, at the age of 20, Charles Schulz was drafted into the United States Army to serve in World War II alongside many other men of his generation. Arriving at the newly built Camp Campbell in Kentucky, Schulz remembered, “The first few days—maybe a week or so—I was totally alone.
