comfort food: there was a bakery in dema run by a fpe that made amazing baked goods. if they knew you were also an fpe or had made your way out into trench at some point, you could get some things made with scavenged ingredients from trench. they'd do a monthly escape to just gather things in trench. i think neonkeeper also would collect flowers and spices for teas from trench as well, the tea was alast very comforting to me. but beside that, weirdly enough, drinking water from the stream in trench was also a comfort thing for me. it was cold, crisp, almost sweet.
cannon trinkets: teagans yellow bandana. i have no idea where he even got it from, but we would pass it back and forth whenever one of us needed a little extra hope. even after what happened to him, it became a promise of sorts, a reminder to keep escaping and keep moving forward. it was always around my wrist. after the battle, i think torchbearer and i both kept small pieces of the ned antlers. his was tied to his torch i think, but i kept mine tied as a trinket hanging from my belt.
cannon habits: in dema i had a habit of walking to the necropolis and just walking amongst the gravestones. sometimes i'd even leave a flower on the graves of those i knew. neonkeeper never had a problem with it, she was very understanding about it. out in trench i had a habit of messing with the bandana around my wrist or picking at the tape on my jacket. i also had a habit of staying up late just to see the stars, something no one could see within dema.

Canon Songs: Anything from the albums of the Trench/Dema story, all of which feel like I'm grasping and clinging to what all I have left of Trench and the Banditos in this place. Songs like Bandito, Center Mass, and especially Drag Path are ones that I cling to with every fiber of my soul.
Canon Cooldowns: Music and singing, whether it was the music at the camp or humming to myself in Dema, or even just listening to music here and now. It's always been something comforting and grounding. Walking around in the woods is also something that calms and grounds me. Watching the sun shine through the leaves, feeling the air fill my lungs, the smell of earth, the sounds of small critters and insects. It's the closest thing here I have to Home.
Canon Hobbies: Writing, drawing, playing instruments, sewing. I picked up drawing from Teagan and writing from Clancy, both of which are things I still do a lot of to this day. Playing instruments will always remind me of the bonfires at camp, with the sound of music and the laughter of the Banditos. Back in Dema, I was a seamster, and at the camp, I was usually the one my friends went to when they had a rip or hole in something that needed patching up, so sewing is something I still enjoy doing.

I figured someone should check in on those of us from Trench/Dema after The Line came out. How is everyone with the song? How are the Clancy's out there? The Torchbearers? The Banditos and citizens? Bishops even?

(To the Clancy I knew, if you're out there, I hope you know Torchbearer and I would have stayed by your side no matter the outcome.)
