I WANT TO RP AGAIN, but I currently only have access to tumblr via the app on my phone and it’s absolutely horrendous. 0/10

BUT I HAVE AND USE DISCORD (casastrophic #2788 for those who can’t view the image). If you use discord (and are comfortable doing so), please please please add me!! Even if we don’t actually do much or any rping together, I miss my tumblr friends and have no other way to talk to most of you. :( Pls talk to me on discord. How else will I send people random fanart?

I’m going to be checking tumblr for a while (as well as I can with this app anyway), so I’m going to reblog this post several times. Hopefully, people end up seeing it. 🥺

For the record, if you have ever followed any of my blogs, I probably think we’re friends, so do not even hesitate to friend me on discord! I promise you it will make my whole day.

“Mmmm…yeah, guess it is.” He lets out a slight chuckle, coming out slow and low as if his own vocal cords were taking a day off. “Buuuut, I can tell that’s not what you meant.”

There were always those moments where Okashi seemed so awkward around him. He himself wasn’t a stranger to that sort of anxiety with people, but he thought by now the colorful teen would know that Sero would never judge him. Maybe tease and joke around, but nothing malicious.

“So, you should tell me what you really meant. Not gonna like force you or anything dude, but I’m all ears.”

🍭  Okashi had known he wasn’t going to get away with that one. No way, no how. Ugh, why did this always have to happen? It was like Okashi couldn’t think straight, and even just listening to Sero speak gave his own tongue a mind of its own, saying crazy things about promises...

How was he going to explain himself? Was he going to explain himself?

“I...just...It’s not...” Damn. He was so loose-lipped a minute ago, but now he felt tongue-tied. His cheeks edged a few shades darker and he sighed. “I wanted you to know that... well... if I make a promise to you, I intend to keep it. That’s all.”

  “No kidding…” Even a full-blown moron could tell he was exhausted. Just bowling a kid over and yawning like that wasn’t something anyone would do on purpose… well, not this guy, at least. Could he be mad about it still? Well… yeah, but he’d be a bit of a dick if he was.

  “You alright, dude? You look like a zombie right now. And not in a zombie flick kinda way.”

🍭  “Yeah, I’m alright,” Okashi answered, sighing softly, “Nothing I can’t handle. I just need to work on my school-work balance.” 

Between hero studies and having to help more at the bakery for the busy season, Okashi hadn’t been getting much sleep. Thankfully, it was the weekend, so he didn’t have any schoolwork due tomorrow, but that meant he had to finish everything tomorrow as well as do another round of deliveries for the bakery.

On the occasional day off with no responsibilities at the forefront of his mind, Sero likes to take it easy. Finding a grass hill, that lays in the path of the sun, and a tree for shade if he ever needs it. And some company was always nice as well.

The teen pops one eye open, letting its gaze trail to the person next to him. He doesn’t move, hands still behind his head as he soaks up the sun, his feet in the grass, and his head laid on the blanket he had brought out.

His easy smile doesn’t leave his lips as a brow raises in question. “What kind of promises are you making, dude?”

🍭 Okashi froze for a moment, staring up at the sky. “I...” He chewed on his bottom lip. “I mean, I make all kinds of promises,” he deflected, shrugging and waving one hand in a vague circular motion. 

He didn’t want to say something too forward or too...much. He didn’t want Sero to think he was weird (although it was entirely possible that he already thought that).

Why did he even say that out loud? He was being ridiculous, caught up daydreaming about the future.

·“I’m good, but you bowled me right over, dude! Gotta watch where you’re going!”

·Kouki pushed himself up from the sidewalk, using his quirk to assist with getting back to his feet as he dusted himself off. Now, this was usually why he flew everywhere. Lots of accidents tended to happen because of oblivious people, and it was always awkward to deal with when it came to some folks.

·“What about you? You good?”

🍭· “Oh good. I’m glad you’re not injured.” Okashi sighed and sluggishly pulled himself to his feet.

“Me? Why yes, I’m quite alri-” A huge yawn interrupted his reply. Okashi blinked, surprised at himself, and shook his head to clear the cobwebs from his sleepy brain.·“I’m terribly sorry! I’m not usually this...” He paused, hands twirling vaguely around each other as he searched for a suitable word.·“...disheveled,” he decided, offering a sheepish smile.

  Patiro blinked. Oh. Hello pole. Bringing a hand up to their head, they scratched around their ear absently, until a motion in the corner of their eye caught their attention. With sluggish reaction time, they looked over and up to the two-tone-haired teen, two-toned eyes fluttering. They seemed somewhat dazed for a moment, lending credibility to Okashi’s suspicions. But that absent look turned bashful as an embarrassed blush crept across their cheeks and they tried to give a dismissive wave of their hand to the concern.

  Ah, but they couldn’t… “speak” yet… Fumbling with themself momentarily, they eventually settled on awkwardly offering their hand, to shake. Their oversized fangs bared in their awkward smile, but aside from the clear bags under their eyes, they seemed friendly.

🍭  Okashi watched their reaction curiously. His original assumption appeared to be correct. That dazed expression was enough to let him know they were tired. 

He raised an eyebrow at the dismissive gesture, though he chose not to say anything further about it. He himself was not unfamiliar with wandering the streets half-awake, so he couldn’t really blame them. They were probably out here for a reason.
